Shima Hair De Beaute

I booked in at Shima for a full colour. Jamie was my stylist and he was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled. He guided me on what shade would suit my complexion and cover my existing blonde highlights. There was a lady that assisted Jamie during my appointment and she was also wonderful (I'm so sorry, I've forgotten your name but thank you so much for the green tea!). It was a very dramatic change in hair colour for me but it turned out amazing and I love it so much! It's exactly what I wanted.

Would have given no star for my most recent experience. I have been a customer (with Charlie) for many years and have recommend their services to many friends. Brought my two children (4yo and 18mo) for a haircut yesterday afternoon with appointment in place at 4pm. We were kept waiting for 50mins! There were 3 ladies getting their hair permed and cloloured but let me guess, only one had a booking but 3 rocked up? I guess its too hard to do the right thing by other customers when money is thrown at you. Its time to look for another hairdresser.

The staff there are very friendly and took good care, and did a good job at cutting my hair! I would highly recommend this place and I would come back here for my next haircut

Very disappointed with this place. They do a great job, but have no respect for their regular customers. Came back for my usual treatment and they asked me for double the price I normally pay ($500)! When I tried to ask her why is she charging me this price, she told me that my hair has changed and is very long now. I then told her that my hair is the same texture and has always been this way (hair texture don't change that I know), and the fact that my hair is long is irrelevant as she only needs to apply the product in my roots, not the whole hair! She has always charged me $250 to apply the product in my roots and now she says it's $500. I wasn't very happy with such an exhorbitant price and when I tried to question her, she treated me with disrespect. She raised her voice, and I straight away asked her to lower her voice as I don't appreciate being talked to like that. She continued to talk loud and told me to go do my hair somewhere else as they don't need me! I was very shocked to be treated this way after 2 years of being their customer. They have no value and respect for their customer, and obviously don't know how to manage customer relationship! Won't ever come back to this place. And btw, another 5 STAR salon has quoted me $180 to do my roots! Shima is only a 3.5 star salon and has asked me $500. Unbelievable.

Best hairdresser goes to Zoii! Friendly, funny and skilful, he is awesome when it comes to trimming or styling your hair, getting you the freshest look or most trendy display! Would recommend 11/10:)

Unaccommodating. Booked and paid for Mani/Pedi, had to leave due to work commitments and didn't have time for the Pedi as well. Asked to staff if I could return later or another day but they flatly refused. Money wasted.definitely do not recommend.

Didn't like my experience there. While they were doing my hair the hairdresser put the hairdryer between his armpits, and to be honest I wouldn't want my hair to be dried with someone's sweat from their armpits. I highly do not recommend this place.

Zoii park has been my hairdresser for almost 8 years. I would never get my hair cut by anyone else. Best service and never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Zoii Park, best hairstylist in Melbourne, coming from the old Acqua in Glen Waverley, a lot of clients moved over to his new salon because not only does he produce a great hair cut, but a friendly service.my wife swears by going to him, we lost him for a while but no have found him again!
