Went here for the basketball cards. The young guy there is friendly and gives a good discount also plenty of stamps and coins.

I dropped by Shields Stamps & Coins around March 2023 as I was a looking for rare Dansco albums. I ended up making a large purchase of rare Australian coins for my albums. The staff were extremely helpful and gave personalized attention. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately my experience was dreadful, paid for a coin plus $30.00 for postage only to be told via a very weak apology and only after chasing the seller that they could not provide me with the coin. Gents this was a sorry excuse for customer service.

This is a fantastic little shop where they sell coins and stamps if you were thinking of starting a coin collection or a stamp collection then I highly recommend you come here the staff are friendly and very knowledgeable and will greet you with a warm smile and a friendly hello set in the heart of Heidelberg

When I walked in there was only one serving person there with a few people looking around to buy so I got no hello or do you need any help? I had gone into this coin shop to get a few coins check out which they didn't actually look at I then gave them one other coin to check out that I knew was worth something which they did look at but said it wasn't worth anything even though I've been to other places that have said otherwise, after my coins had been looked at the person serving me just walked away to help someone else without asking if there was anything else I was after. This coin shop seems to be very average

I had just called up Tony and was trying to ask questions and he had hanged straight being rude and not nice I do not recommend this place because over the phone the employee is already rude and now if I go into the store who knows what he will be likeTony you are very disrespectful you Kawajat Tony is no good Tony is very rude

It is a pleasure to deal with Michael. Great prices and is willing to trade footy cards. Also has heaps of old AFL footy records and memorabilia for the pool room. Highly recommend a visit to their shop.

I have been dealing with Michael now for the last couple of years and he is extremely fair, knowledgeable and accommodating. I couldn't recommend him any higher.

He has played an enormous part in me being able to build my personal collection and without his help I would have struggled to obtain the particular cards that I was looking for.

The store is also well laid out so it is easy to browse through their wide variety of items and there is plenty of free parking available. I highly recommend anyone visit the store, they won't be disappointed.

Excellent excellent service. I ordered a copy of my father's war medals in 2019, they were copied in very reasonable time and beautifully done. Had another two sets done last week. Unbelievable, completed the same day. Excellent service. Very very Happy.

Absolutely disgusted! Was offered $260 for a SOLID 24CT GOLD COIN 10.3 grams in weight that is worth $637 IN SCRAP METAL PRICES! That's $377 LESS. LESS than scrap. That's not fair and he knew of the coin before I even brought it in so he knows the value of the gold content alone. I can't understand how it could be legal to knowingly try to rip someone off especially for so much difference in price for scrap metal prices, not to mention the ACTUAL VALUE OF THE COIN WHICH is over 120 years old and in excellent condition. That in my eyes is not honest, fair or legal.
I WOULD RATHER THROW IT IN THE DRAIN THAN DO BUSINESS WITH HIM (I am talking about the older guy, the ACTUAL owner of the shop) If I could, i would have given NO STARS.

Good place to sell coins/stamps, owner knows his stuff. Plenty of coins, stamps, and other memorabilia to look at and purchase as well.

Waste of time going here. The guy spent more time talking on the phone instead of looking at my collection.
