Sherbrooke Archers

Attended our first 'come and try' session. It's our first time using a bow.
Reading the booklet they provide online made a big difference to how much we enjoyed the day and how well we shot.
Penny, Allen and the crew made sure we always new what was going on and the coaching worked well.
The equipment seemed to be in good repair and we had a great time.

A former member of this club from inception around '76 to '81 (did very well there as a young 18 to 23 y.o. Bowmen.enjoyed and did well for the long range comps back then.think is was known as the Canberra Round. Much has happened/changed as l see from the club web site detail. A very different location now venue to the original former now site and excellent layout including the field shoot range.must re visit. Club fees very good value.thanks for letting me post this.

Friendly environment and great facility. I went to a Come 'n' Try session and currently halfway into the Archery Instruction Program (AIP). My experience has only been great! Everyone is so lovely to interact with and the trainers have been patient with all my questions while giving tips and advice about how to become an archer. Highly recommend trying it out whether you're coming for the social aspect or the competitive side - there is something for everyone.
Note as this is an outdoor range there isn't much cover, on hot days be sure to put on sunscreen (they do have some in the clubhouse) and bring a bottle of water.

My wife and I had a try out with Sherbrooke Archery club with 2x come and try sessions. Had a fun couple of Sunday mornings with the club members. We enjoyed the time so much that we joined the AIP program where we learnt a lot about etiquette, range safety and different aspects of archery equipment. The training staff and other club members made us feel very welcome, very insightful and very willing to offer up their knowledge to any questions that we had. A very welcoming environment & atmosphere for the whole family. A very big thank you to Peter Reid, Graham, Trudy and Penny for all your time & patience. We look forward to becoming members & making new friends at this wonderful club as soon as we purchase our archery equipment. Look forward to shooting down range soon.
Highly recommend any one of any age & gender to try out the come and try + the Archery Instruction program. You won't be disappointed.
