Shepherds Bush reviews
13 Tranquil bushland where the Dandenong creek cuts a deep gully meandering through. Trail can be done as an extension ofJells Park or from Norton's Park which has car parking.
Walking trails in here are flat but winds upwards along the creek toward High St Rd. Not too sure if dogs on leash are allowed. You do not hear the noise of traffic but of shrieking cockatoos & other birdlife. There's a frog habitat along the baseball park. Access via Jells Park, Norton's Park or via Dandenong Creek trail at High St Rd. Part of trail is closed due to damage & is cordoned off but ppl seem to ignore this. You can still do a circuit walk & bypass the closure which is what we did.
Lovely paths which take you on a journey to view wildlife. Meeting others along the way exchanging their adventures enriches the walk. Lovely at sunset.
Really cool spot well maintained
Main walking track was closed when we went I think something was damaged but definitely going back to try it next time
Cool location for a family walk into the bush leading into the Jells park for a nice time out with the kids. Quite an enjoyable location and walk!
Excellent hidden walking trails in suburban Melbourne.
You will never know what is out there if you don't go looking.
Easy but exciting walk. Kids love it. A little adventure in the burbs. We ride through to jells park.
Not a bad local walk but they need to maintain the tracks better and also add an indigenous cultural element to it and to jells park in general
A great little pocket of nature in suburbia. A good place to bird watch or take a relaxing walk.
Love it here. Nice, easy walk for kids with lots to look at. Great for kids and dogs on lead (in most parts). Joins up with off - lead dog park (Norton's park). This was after a lot of rain - couldn't get through on one path.
Shaded and lots of birds to watch and hear.
Interesting walking experience and being not quite what I expected. It's mainly a single track adventure with bush and water crowding you in. Quiet a few varieties of bird calls around. The track is reinforced with board and brick and quite secure but there are dirt parts as well, not the place you would appreciate getting caught in the rain as very nearly happened to me.
Is a great if you love nature.
Lots of birds flying about.
A good place to walk and to take photographs.
Great trails to walk, if you have kids and live in the area it's perfect, you can been in the middle of the park within 15min without having to travel out somewhere else, great that their are still parks like this in the suburbs
Great for early morning walks.good tracks.nice natural bushland. & birdlife.
Great inner suburb parkland
