A perfect weekend away.
My partner and I stayed in the Galapagos tent for two nights to celebrate a birthday, and had one of the best weekends of our lives.
We'd strongly recommend the same tent for couples looking for more privacy and a scenic spot at the bottom of the paddock by the river, with a host who is terrifically helpful and responsive. The Emperor tent on one side of the paddock seemed great for a larger group or family; Adelie and Gentoo at the top of the hill are quite close to each other and would be great for two couples having a weekend away; and Fiordland II seems like a really cool little caravan in the middle of the property.
The Galapagos tent we enjoyed is perfect for couples looking for a glamping experience that is more camp than glam. This isn't some back-to-nature version of a high class hotel stay. This is an all-essentials-provided-for, convenient, BEAUTIFUL (both tent and scenery) camping experience. It was amazing having a great bed, gorgeous tent and stunning creek to enjoy, while also having a private toilet and shower, small fridge, BBQ, basic cooking and eating utensils, and tea and coffee facilities all provided to us.
Highlights included: cooking our locally sourced seafood BBQ feast on the first night; waking up with local wildlife around the tent each morning; spending an evening sitting out under the stars; the open air, private shower; and super convenient walks to the nearby winery and beach.
Randall and family, thanks for being great hosts, for putting so much love into your property, and for sharing that property with others.

Perfect little space and getaway with two girlfriends for the weekend! Most glamping places only have double/queen bed setups, so to find a place that accommodates a twin/triple bed set up was an absolute WIN!

We stayed at Fiordland II - the retro lil caravan. Cutest thing ever nestled under a glorious cypress tree and captivating landscape. I would most definitely recommend this space and place to stay. Plus the beds are super comfy. We will be back for another girls weekend. Thank you Randall - the Superhost for making our weekend very special! ️

P. S Must try the hot outdoor shower it’s a lovely experience and space - even if it’s not your thing… The spiral shower head is very cool

Amazing comfortable stay in luxurious tents which are private and comfy. I have now been two times and the location makes you feel like a holiday. The tent was clean and had everything we needed. Service was great and cannot wait to return. Highly recommend!

My friends and I were looking for a campground when passing through Phillip Island and then we found Sheltered Glamping Co. Randall was nice enough to let us stay on his grounds and set up a tent. He was extremely helpful and accommodating to us, asking for little in return. Deeds like his make this world a better place, so glad we had the opportunity to stay in his amazing glamping site with clean eco friendly facilities!

The best accommodation on Phillip Island and a must-stay experience! The site is situated in the most tranquil corner of the island with ocean views, and abundant wildlife, nestled amongst the coastal forest - it made an unforgettable stay for me and my partner. It's just a short walk from the beautiful beach, a hiking track that spans the coastline from Berrys Beach to Pyramid Rock and offers panoramic views of the south coast of the island (our favourite walk on the island). Also within walking distance is the Phillip Island Winery where we had a delicious meal while sampling local wines. The hosts are easy to communicate with, friendly and welcoming. The tents are so beautifully decorated and offer luxury comfort. We have stayed twice so far and hope to return regularly! Absolutely recommend it to anyone seeking a nature-based, revitalising experience.

If you are looking for a truly wonderful Glamping escape then this is the place. Comfort, warmth and style all within such a pristine and charming coastal environment. Sitting at sunset by the billabong we watched ducks gliding across the water as they came to feed. We even saw a spoonbill on evening feeding at the edge! Wallaby’s visit frequently and I am positive we saw the scratching of an echidna too. The efficient and kind team supporting your booking will make you feel like they have created this entire Glamping experience just for you. We loved every minute of it. 5 out of 5 for sure!

We had a campervan and nowhere to stop for the night. Randall let us park up on his site and use his facilities for $20. Such a friendly guy and happy to help. Would definitely stay again.

Looking forward to sleeping under the stars again! Cosy tents with good facilities in a private location with amazing views - loved it. The detail to off grid and eco living is also really nice to see. Thanks!

The glamping set up is excellent. It's comfortable and everything is authentically beautiful and stylish. The hosts are knowledgeable locals and very welcoming. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else on Philip Island. It's a great spot!

Check in was easy, Hosts were lovely. Everything inside the tent was well placed & decorated. Assure you back your own cooking supplies & cutlery etc if desired though coffee supplies are provided. The lamps provided were great and very useful. Loved that the tents had electricity Our eta was night time, the heater was left on for us which helped keep the tent warm. Car park next to the tent & toilet facilities just a few more steps down. Bed was comfortable & additional blankets provided. Close distance to berry’s beach. Loved that the shower was heated as I wouldn’t have survived but there’s no where to hang the towel in the tent. Clear instructions provided on how to use particular things. There is a large shared fridge/freezer in-between both tents. NOTE: There is no sink/basin to wash your face with or brush your teeth. Also assure you pack a tissue box Was wide awake at 2am after the other tent guests decided to hang out in between the two tents and have a loud chat and laughing. All up, it was a good outdoor experience

We stayed 2 night at this amazing place wit our fur babies…a serene and secluded location which brings u in touch with nature. The only thing u can hear is the wind whistling through the trees and the surf crashing on the waves at Berrys beach. The “Emperor” tens is well furnished and has all the amenities to make u comfortable. Randall n his team has done well and I wish them all.success.

We stayed here 2 nights in March and it was an amazing experience, the hosts were extremely welcoming with plenty of tips to make the most of our trip and always only a phone call away if we had any questions.

It was a true 'glamping' experience, the tent was very well thought out and had everything we needed, from a heater and a picnic set to a comfortable bed.

Although the toilet and outdoor shower were a little walk from our tent, they were clean, private, well lit and had t.p and hot water, there were even some bugs to remind you that we amongst the outdoors.

If you're lucky you'll get an amazing clear sky full of stars, like pictured. We did for one night. The beach is a short stroll or drive down the road, as is a winery, which is a great place for some drinks and great food. The location is only about 10 min drive from Cowes, so still easy to go out for dinner/ lunch.

Booking can be made by email or phone, it is a little pricey, but we felt it was totally worth it. We have recommended this place to friends and will be back again!

The accommodation was fantastic. It was our (partner and I) first time glamping and really ticked all our boxes. The place was very secluded and we were able to see many different wild lives at a close distance.

The whole tent and inside facilities are well thought out;
- First aid kit for emergency
- Picnic mat and blankets
- Card games
- Small fan
- DC power bank
- Wireless speaker
- Portable bedside lamp to be used for traveling to the toilet at night.
- Solar LED fairy lights

The host's philosophy in reducing carbon footprint and waste can be seen through out their glamping site. Furniture are all in wood, hardly any plastic were used in any products, many electronics are powered by renewable energy.

We received detailed information on how to navigate around the site before we arrived and had a warm welcome by Randall when we got there. He even made extra efforts on providing all the places we can go with our dog and food to eat as well.

The hosts (Randall and Kathleen) were a great help in getting the accommodation ready for me to propose to my partner and generous enough to let our dog stay as well. Thank you for making my proposal run as smooth as possible.
As Randall mentioned, they get 100% success rate for proposal.
I would highly recommend this place for a romantic get away trip.

We had a great time with our kids at this camp site. Randall (owner) was really helpful and made us feel welcomed.

The tent and bathroom were clean and the surrounding was peaceful and serene.

Very poor communication. We asked some questions online but could not get a response within the time they stated on the web page. When we finally get one, it was not satisfactory. After trying to communicate for a while we said we might leave a public comment. The answer was we should not expect an answer after threatening people. Just book, pay your money, stay and leave but do not ask any questions.
