1 24 hour card only terminal outside the building has to be used even though staff were in store on duty at the time we were there. Staff can't override the outside terminal to authorise a pump so you can fill up and pay in store.
We wanted fuel as well as other items, so would have had to do two separate transactions.
A staff member tried to use a card they have to allow us to do everything as a single transaction but their card is worn out from so many people wanting the single transaction option.
The machine timed out when I tried to use my own credit card.
We try to support small towns when travelling, but clearly the terminal only option isn't working to the advantage of the business owner here.it cost them a sale of about 50 litres of diesel and another $20 to $30 we would have spent in store on top of the fuel purchase.
