I like the clothes but my Chadston store experience was far from pleasant.

I came to shop with 3 of my bridesmaids to shop for bridesmaids dresses. The shop had 25% offer if you spend over $250. I have ended up spending $1429.91.

Problem was the shop didn’t have size 10 shoes we were after. I got offered by employee Taffy for the shoes to be moved from Ringwood store to which I have agreed. Funny thing about it was that because they didn’t the right size available I was no longer able to get the 25% off offer on the chosen heels.

I thought it was ridiculous given how much stock I was buying and that it wasn’t my fault they didn’t have the needed size available.

I have agreed to wait for the right size to arrive at the store for me to pick up next time.

I had to wait for a week to receive a call from the store and once arrived got told that I was only approved for 20% off instead of 25%. I just couldn’t understand the reasoning behind the case.

Given how unfair the situation was and that the store’s actions simply didn’t make no sense and I was being made financially responsible for their stock levels I have stated that I would simply return all purchased stock to them if I wasn’t going to get the 25% off offer and only then, after all the back and forth unneeded time consuming discussions was I given what I had all the rights to receive the whole time.

Just for the record if I went online and bought everything from online store I would have received 25% off the sale plus $10 off the first online purchase plus received free delivery and would have saved myself time and hustle and petrol money.

Such poor customer service not only affected our pleasant experience at Chadstone making it the opposite to joy but have also stole numerous hours of our time and brought negative emotions and frustrations to the surface.

It was my first and last time paying Chadstone SHEIKE a visit. Staff member Taffy and the rest of girls on the floor require much better customer service training as well as need to use their logic when completing a sale.

I’m only giving the store 2 stars because I like their stock and if I didn’t like the dresses and shoes I would have rated my really disappointing experience as 1 star with no hesitation.

Sheike Chadstone: Just bought my Year 12 formal dress, my mum were so lucky to have Sasha and Thea's help who helped us find a new dress and call the store for my mum's shoes. They were really helpful.

Always love sheike and their clothes but today was a great day visiting your Chadstone store. There was a gorgeous blonde lady who's name is Ella or Elle (apologies) who was super helpful, attentive and goes above and beyond. Loved the customer service. You go Ella!

I got served by Sasha for the second time and she’s the sweetest! She helped me so much and was so patient.she knew i wanted one dress which was sold out, but that night she found my number and called me to come back, she’s such a cutie?

I have been regularly shopping with Sheike since the first day it opened. I would love going in to chat to the regular staff who were always amazing but in the last year I have noticed the staff and customer service deteriorate considerably but yesterday’s experience in the Chadstone store was shocking.

I went to purchase an item with a credit note. I gave my email address where the credit note was issued but it couldn’t be found. I then handed the print out of the credit note to the sales assistant and it still couldn’t be found. Whilst she was lovely, she had no idea what she was doing. This went on for some time, going around in circles trying to process the sale. Questioning me on my details and had I already used my credit note (which you’d be able to see in my history that I hadn’t). It was becoming very frustrating and after a few phone calls to store manager at another store it was eventually sorted. I was in the store for over 30mins, left then received a phone call to say it was finally sorted then needed to go back to the store.

The Area/Regional manager (I forget what she called herself) eventually came out from the back to smooth things over, instead she was just patronising.

It’s quite easy to use the excuse “it’s hard to find staff”. Maybe you should spend time and resources on training the ones you have. There certainly wasn’t a shortage of them in store.

I’ve left very disappointed and certainly don’t feel valued as a regular Sheike shopper.

Had the most awesome experience today. Shereena at Chadstone was phenomenal! Honest Genuine you can tell she knows what her customers truly want. She is an absolute asset to this brand. I will be telling everyone about her. Big Love ️

There’s seriously something wrong with the staff members that work at Sheike. They don’t greet you when you enter nor do they offer to help when you are waiting to be served, they just talk amongst themselves. Sheike Southland was bad and now the Chadstone store too. What a pity. Sheike really need to learn from other brands on how to provide customer service and etiquette. You’d expect that for the price you charge your clothes you’d have the service to match it. Nahhhhhh pure slack

Fantastic customer service at your Chadstone store! I popped in for a very last minute wedding guest outfit and even though I had already picked online what I wanted, two girls were so attentive, quick and just fabulous on helping me get all sorted in matter of minutes. They went above and beyond by steaming the pants and having it all ready to wear while I had my make up done! Fabulous To the two girls that worked in the morning of 15/9, thank you!:) (apologies I didn't catch your names in my crazy rush)

I went in with my mother on the 11.8.22 at 7: 30pm. The girls were not terribly unpleasant when speaking to them, however there were several disappointing aspects to their service. We were not greeted, nor was anyone else upon arrival at that time. Even after picking things up for 10 minutes, not one of the three staff offered us assistance (they were not working with other customers either). During our change-room experience, I went to grab my mum a size up. I waited at the counter, with no other customers in line, very clearly for a few minutes. The two girls at the counter continued speaking to each other and disregarded my presence until it became simply rude not to speak to me. I only recall one staff member, the darker haired lady in the blue dress, smiling once the entire time at anyone.

I am sure that with some training, these girls could be capable of providing better service, but this was the bare minimum and could hardly be classified as customer service.

I walked into the shop hoping to find something bump friendly. The staff immediately greeted me and and gathered a bunch of different items for me to try on. It was so refreshing to find beautiful colourful clothes that I can wear whilst pregnant and the girls made it such a wonderful experience for me. I will 100% be a returning customer.

I have been here a few times, and the last few times I have had such great customer service. I was served yesterday by the same store assistant, I think her name was Mon B (what it said on the receipt, was wearing a pink dress), and she is so attentive, friendly and genuinely wanting to help. Just wanted to share kudos as it really stood out, and it was such a pleasant experience!

If I could give this store 0 stars, I would. I've been to this store twice before and the staff there didn't so much say hi. I tried on some clothes the second time and the staff didn't even say one word to me. It left me with such a bad taste in my mouth that I decided to order the clothes online when I got home instead of purchasing in store.

What happened yesterdays tops it all. I went to Chadstone specifically to go into Sheike. I was looking at the clothes for about 10 minutes and I saw the three staff were having a deep conversation about a personal issue. They kept looking at me but didn't bother smiling nor saying hi. I was checking out some clothes in the back when one of the women tilted her head and said "are you ok? " As if to say what are you still doing here. My response was "I'm ok, are you? ". I got a bit worked up at this point so I started walking out. The woman raised her voice at that satage and said "can I help you? ". I told her not to worry and walked out.

Just because I was pushing a pram with a baby and the fact that I'm brown doesn't give the staff the right to treat me any different.

I would have purchased the Abigail dress and the Fairview coat and a couple of tops there had i received ok customer service. I went in there specifically to buy those but I came home with clothes from Seed and Country Road instead. I'm not even sureI'll buy things from Sheike online anymore. I don't want to support a brand that doesn't train their staff to provide good customer service. I went into Dior yesterday and the staff there were absolutely wonderful. May be Sheike needs to take a leaf out of their book.

I will be leaving this review on product review, FB and all other available media.

Love the brand and their clothes but staff in Chadstone is awful. They don’t bother and visible discriminate against brown people. It almost feels like that they do not even want you to enter the store if you are not white. It is so sick.

Awful service provided to my mother by a store assistant at this store. We clearly understood the rules around refunds without the purchaser present and my mother asked for a credit note instead of a refund rather than wait in what was already a COVID unsafe queue for the changing rooms. The assistant refused to listen to my mother as she explained that she understood she wasn’t looking for a refund but rather wanted a credit note so she could come into the store at a later date. Manager was argumentative for no reason and only balked after some time. Only bright side was the other store assistant who helped my mum with processing her credit note and apologised for the time it took to process.

I have been shopping at Sheike Chadstone since it first opened and I’ve never had a bad experience until today. I love the clothing and the prices are reasonable. Today my mother and I enter the store and the sales assistant was staring at us. She did not greet or acknowledge us. Anyway, we picked up a selection of clothing to try on and everything was nice so we proceeded to the register to pay. The same sales assistant began processing our order. No smile, no conversation… looked very miserable to be honest. We were shocked at how miserable she looked to be serving customers. She started folding the clothing and realised she left the security tags on so was then rolling her eyes - not professional at all! I then asked her if she could look up my member profile and placed the money on the bench. She opened the cash register and put in the money. I said aren’t you going to look up my member profile for my purchase. She then became very defensive and said doesn’t need to do that. I said I usually give my details when I shop here. She said no you don’t need to… actually I’ve never done it before and I don’t know how to do it! She was very rude in her tone of response. We were shocked. Please train your staff to do there jobs properly. It will be a much more pleasant experience for your customers and your staff will generally be happier if they know what they are doing!

Appalling customer service by the staff. There was no immediate greeting. No one advised us of the promotions and next to no service in the fitting room at all. The girls were busy doing personal stuff.

Guys, learn from your competitors like Witchery or Seed! They are exactly the opposite, when it comes to customer service. My wife had to get dressed back into her clothes three times to look for different sizes.
