Several attempts to contact to speak with them regarding progress very poor customer service took 3 mths longer to receive very poor quality product very disappointed

If you are looking for good old fashioned service, do not look here. The service was appalling. The two people I dealt with I assumed were disgruntled employees, but I found out to my disbelief, they are actually the owners. Robert was abusive, arrogant and rude. He was always on the defensive and everything is the customers fault. The shed arrived months late and due to other jobs on the go I was then late in getting it put up. To be fair there were delays in supply due to COVID but zero communication. When I unpacked it I found it was incomplete and was told basically tuff luck as it was not reported sooner. Also calls to shed city were rarely answered and don’t bother trying to leave a message as not one time we’re they ever returned. The quality of the shed itself seems ok but it requires a large amount of drilling yourself and generic drawings that do not assist in erecting the shed. So unless you are very handy or get it put up stay clear. If you do go ahead unpack it the day it arrives and check everything, you may get missing parts supplied but I cannot answer that one. All in all I very much regret the day I walked in to shed city and would not ever deal with them again. I actually had read some bad reviews and some good one’s; but I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. One person suggested the good reviews were fake and I must say I suspect they are. After my experience I have spoken with other past customers who seem to have had similar issues. To sum up, zero out of Ten.

Do not believe any good reviews of this company they have posted them themselves all the bad reviews are spot on, I ordered a shed, chose all the colours signed the contract paid a $5000 deposit and waited and waited and waited! After a couple of months I get a call to come in and choose colours as they are ready to start manufacturing the shed when I told them I already have they pretty much told me I was wrong, so I go in and we go through the exact same thing we did at the start (I had my contact with the colours on it) so again I wait and wait it had gone on for over 6 months now, then I get a call saying because the walls are over the standard height they need to use a different gage steel and it will cost more so by this stage I’m sick to death of them and want my money back which they refused to do and argued it was more or less my fault and really didn’t give a stuff, like all the other bad reviews say very rude and arrogant, months later I got sick and was hospitalised for a long time and couldn’t pay the balance, my mother went in to see them and they just said too bad we will either start charging storage fees until it’s paid for or resell it which is what they did and I lost my $5000! All the bad reviews are 100% correct do not go near this company!

When I was looking for a shed company, I just really wanted one which was based in Australia. That way I would know that the quality of the shed will be excellent. Let me tell you, now-a-days, that is very hard to find. Shed City was one of the only companies who still completely manufacturers in Australia and so, I pushed forward with caution due to their online reputation. They are amazing. The whole process was personalized to me and I had assistant throughout the whole process. I had no issues which I had seen complained about and will be recommending them to friends. As I had a special order (not standard sizes), the Shed did take longer to be produced, but the quality completely makes up for the extra week or 2 of waiting! Please buy your shed here, as I fear they are a rare company, making all their own sheets, etc.

Shed City are the worst company I have ever dealt with. We had so many problems with our garage. Avoid them at all costs!

Best shed I've had. Don't waste your time with sheds in a box or blow away sheds even screwed together ones. Get one from these guys with bolt together frame the strongest ever. They are just great. I watched the video on their website & I knew thats what I wanted. Staff were great helped with layout & shed arrived exactly like I wanted. Looks great in my backyard

Good old customer service, real care with my shed design and they want it to be right for me. All the options from a small shed for our daughters townhouse or a shed so I don't need a permit, a carport or a garage to put my boat and caravan in. They took the time to listen to me and what I need.

Got another shed delivered, fast service, easy install, great price.

Originally bought a shed city shed 7 years ago and was very pleased with the service, however after a storm, a tree branch damaged 3 wall sheets, I have ordered and paid for 3 new sheets with a early March date to be ready, we are now late March and all my calls are taken and am told no one is in the office and that I will get a return call later that day, it's very frustrating as I have a unsecured shed and could have bought some temporary sheets if I had known it would take this long. Still waiting for a call back

Shed city honestly deserves no stars. Seriously stay away from this company. There communication is appalling and organisation is non existent. Do yourself a favour and just throw your deposit money in the bin and save yourself the headaches and frustration of trying to deal with this company.

As I live local I try to support the local shops. I live 8 minutes (5 klm) away from Shed City Kilmore, you guys were going to charge me $110.00 for delivery of a small Garden Shed.
I thought I would look and see what BUNNINGS in CRAIGIEBURN had in the way of sheds, I ended up buying a bigger one than they showed me at SHED CITY and it was almost half the price and delivery to KILMORE from CRAIGIEBURN that is 25 minutes (34 klm) away is only $35.00
I really don't know how you can charge so much for Delivery for people that live just up the road. You should be looking after the local community by offering FREE DELIVERY.
I really don't know how you guy's are still in business. The shed I purchased was made in Australia too before someone says that I purchased a cheaper overseas made shed.

Sadly, I have to leave 1 star for the utterly appalling service. Luckily, it appears I am not the only one.

Several years ago, we were intending on getting a large shed built and had given them dimensions and specifications.

We paid a $1000 deposit but unfortunately I had a major health issue a short time later that prevented me from going any further.

When my health improved and I eventually returned home, I contacted Shed City to inform them I couldn't continue with the shed as my health issue would unfortunately not let me use it.

I was then spoke to to the rudest man I think I have ever spoken too who told me "bad luck, you lose your deposit". At that stage, I hadn't even confirmed the design, had not received any contracts and their costs were zero.

Gladly, in the years since, I have convinced at least 15 other friends to take their business elsewhere.

Hopefully my $1000 lost deposit is small fry compared to the 150k in business you have lost, and will continue to lose.

I deal with people honestly and in good faith. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control, it has bitten me on this occasion, but Karma will bite back one day.

It saddens me to have to leave feedback like this as I was not able to speak to someone internally who could take the feedback on board. I kept being sent from department to department and who knows who I spoke to at the end, all I know is I was treated like rubbish. The 'manager' I apparently spoke to told me in an earlier conversation that he was not the manager.

Anyway to cut a long story short, we were told a couple of weeks for a door. Seven weeks later after having to constantly chase up with them the door is finally ready. The shed now has dust and water damage because of the delay.

All I wanted was to express my concern about the process and treatment we received to provide feedback about how their service could be improved yet I was confronted by defensiveness and rudeness. I think its important to support local business but when you are treated like this it makes it very difficult.

Hopefully this review now highlights the lack of customer service and is addressed.

Great help & time taken to get it just right for me. High quality garden shed with gutters & downpipe too so using the water in my garden. Great work

Had great deals and lived up to their end of the bargain by supplying me with a shelf kit with my shed. Shed was made quickly. They did their job properly and well, nothing else to say.

I had been searching for a shed since early August. After talking to the Sales assistance at Shed City I knew I could trust them to make my shed right! They helped me with my planning permit (which no one else would do) and kept me updated throughout the whole order. Could not be happier with the end result.

My initial impression was great, the staff in the office were polite and easy to chat to and went through the shed plans down to every detail.it seemed.
When we went in to sign contracts and pay for our shed we noticed the shed height drawn in the plan was different to what we asked for so we asked for it to be changed, were told not to worry it would be done straight away when she got back to her main computer and the price we were quoted and what was on the contract was for the height we wanted.
After all the monies were paid we were told it would be ready shortly and then we never heard from them again.
We kept calling and no one would ring us back to tell us what was happening.this went on for months until we finally got a call saying it was nearly ready but the height on our plans submitted to council were different to the height they had on their paperwork. We told them the person we dealt with in the office had said she'd correct the height on her end and we basically got called liars by Robert. After many arguments with Robert we had to pay extra to get the shed height we originally wanted!
So then we finally go to erect the shed and some of our posts were still too short and we had to buy new ones from our shed erector as we needed them immediately, but then there were plates that the verandah posts fastened to that were cut and drilled wrong which had been put up before we realized and when we asked for replacement plates to swap over we were given the run around no one returned our calls and after we finally got through to Robert he told us we would have to pay a deposit for them as he didn't believe we would bring the others back.
Robert is by far the rudest and most immature business person I have ever met who seems to want to argue like a child about absolutely everything rather than try to fix their mistakes. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHATSOEVER!
This is just skimming the surface, I could go on and on as we have had so many issues with this company, short roof sheeting causing water to get into our shed, other parts missing etc etc.but the bottom line is; We would never use this business again nor recommend this company to anyone. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else!

This is the most rude company ever! I cannot believe this sort of business is running in Australia. Unprofessional and irrational.the staff are so not fit for there jobs and we were spoken to like animals, emails were not answered once full payment was made.if your looking for a job well done and good customer service look elsewhere.
Shed craft on the other hand are amazing. Contact them direct.
