Shaver Shop Uni Hill

The young guy who served me on the 25/01/23 in the afternoon (didn’t catch his name, sorry!) was so kind and friendly. Just good customer service. Left me to my own devices to pick between products when I was still deciding and offered me informed advice and opinions on which one he thought would be best. Really think he deserves a shout out for his genuine and welcoming customer service.

Jemma D at Uni Hill was amazing today! I was greeted with the brightest smile upon entry. Jemma was very knowledgeable regarding hair clippers, answered all my questions and made my transaction smooth and enjoyable.

Purchased a reasonably expensive trimmer and it failed to operate after 1 month. Don't even try to get a refund or repair - the Bundoora store never answer emails or respond to reasonable requests for assistance. FAIL. Shaver S**t. Me, my family and all my friends will be shopping elsewhere.

I was assisted by Oscar (ASM?) and Annalise (?) Who were both an absolute pleasure to deal with. Both were good listeners, attentive and even empathetic. Thank you for helping me out!

Great selection or shaving products! Originally called the store and it was a prompt pickup and the associate gave me the details my product was in stock. When I went in I had a discussion with the sales associate Annalise and she guided me to a much better product which I just tested. Super satisfied from start to finish with the service.

Worst customer service had a faulty product from wahl. While trimming it cut off my skin and plug my hairs. Spent 230$ on top of the range machine. I used it couple of times. I have done everything but it still not working properly. At uni hill I asked for refund or exchange and they said u don’t know how to use it. They both girls on reception were very rude. Worst experience ever thanks wahl and shaver shop bundoora for ur service. It lost my hard earn money.

Abrasive staff member who sold me something different to what I had asked for. When asked about a certain product, she said they weren't made anymore. I felt overwhelmed by her persistent dismisseviness in response to my questions. I left having been talked into a purchase that wasn't exactly what I wanted. I then looked on the website to find that the product I had wanted and asked for specificlly was actually there all the time in stock. I went back to the shop to return the purchase that I felt I had been coerced into buying. When I explained why I wanted a refund, she stated that the product I had orignionally wanted was something completely different to what I had asked for. This was untrue.
I believe this was an attempt to upsell to an item that I didn't want.
I will never step foot into this shop again and others should be warned.

I have been shopping at the Shaver Shop chain for many years now (early 2000s). But a couple of Saturdays ago I went into the one in Uni Hill and I was so underwhelmed by the young Asian guy who served me.within moments I realised that he knew everything about shaving. Cut me off, corrected me on things he clearly knew nothing about.zero customer service and I left regretting having bought what I did.

I gave the store 2 stars as it carries a good selection and I cannot imagine that all of the staff are as arrogant and dismissive of customers as the young Asian guy was. Maybe interacting with humans is not for him.

The lady working in the shop was dealing with a supply truck break down on the Hume, and the computer system was down and couldn't process orders - all at the end of a long day. Despite the stress, she handled the situation awesomely and was very friendly and helpful. Got a great price on my item too.
