Terrible service unprofessional staff and a manager that refused to speak to a customer.
Bought a Philips Tooth brush from the Uni hill store on the 15 th March for $99.95.
When i got home i noticed a sticker on the box about a competition that was ending in early 2017 but thought nothing of it until the tooth brush would not keep a charge for more then a couple of times
Obviously it was an old model sitting in the clearance shop for over 7 Years.
. I visited the Northland shop because i had some work nearby to exchange it only to be told that they need to test it first for the day and they would advise me of the result that afternoon.
Could not believe it they are now experts in battery testing a tooth brush.
What a joke.
The manager was called by the staff member but refused to talk to me.
I was left without a toothbrush so i purchased another one for $99.95 and went to work.
It’s 7.42 pm and i’m still waiting for the results.
These guys here have broken all the consumer laws.
I had a receipt and the product was 2 weeks old only and they wouldn’t replace it.
Shaver Shop get your act together my family and I have spent thousands of $$$$$ at your stores over the years and you refuse to replace a faulty product before the staff test it.

Most definitely the worse customer service I have ever come across. I was trying to exchange a faulty massage gun (which was still very much in warranty) and the people who were working refused to accepted it because they claimed the massage gun still worked.even after they struggled turning it on and could literally hear the motor rattling inside, still refused to accept. The man who was there then proceeded to accuse me of lying and threatened me with the cameras that they had in store to prove that I was lying about what I was telling them?

The staff in this store need to be re-trained on their return and exchange policies as they definitely do not understand them, even after I had to explain what was stated on the receipts it was just excuse after excuse. After everything they then claimed that they couldn’t even do anything because they are casuals and needed a manager to do the transaction which the next time there would be was in 3 days time.do yourself a favour and don’t even bother shopping at this store.

It has been my pleasure to walk into shaver shop northland and shop here. I really am happy as the customer service here is at it’s best. I was welcomed in the shop. These guys have knowledge about products they are selling. Ended up buying $500 shaver for my father. Well done guys. Will definitely recommend.

My experience in here is awful. The old guy who worked 14 October 1000am. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Purchased the whal trimmer 4days ago and I found the blade was shattered as soon as I opened it. Product has not been used and under 2years warranty. I request for refund or exchange. Old guy refused and only change the blade. I requested again as blade is part of the product and I have the right to get the product exchanged. He ask me to return the product direct to the whal if you are unhappy with product. THere is 60days trial and STORE DOES NOT ACCEPT THE REUTRN.this is the most unpleasant customer service ever

Tried to get some assistance here the other day regarding a return on a faulty product. The guy working behind the counter, presumed owner was the least interested, possibly worst customer service I've ever experienced. Go somewhere else!

Was there to buy a hair clipper for father's day. Staff members were extremely reckless and were chatting and didn't even care that there are customers in the shop. I had to call for assistance and a tall young male staff, reluctantly came for assistance and his assistance was: you can look at what we have here and let me know if you have any questions about!

In general, I believe management needs to be changed on this store.

What a pleasure to deal with. Had an online order which I purchased last month, however the product ended up having a faulty battery. The staff at northland were prompt in identifying the fault after their testing and was replaced on the day.

Hi I bought Brand new wahl lithium ion Beard Trimmer $249. Went home opened it and one of the attachments were not working went back to exchange it but they refused it saying manager needs to see if it’s a faulty or damage. They made me by new attachment for $62. What a waste of money and time. Please don’t shop from there they will rip you off.

I went to northland shavershop on sunday person called NEIL was very rude when I ask him about the different product he might have lack of information about those products and I was about to leave without any purchase he told if you don’t wanna buy anything why would you come in store he was very rude in infront of other customers which make me feel embarrassed

I had purchased a GHD from the northlands store in October 2021. It stopped working after 3 months. I called the store explaining what happened to store member Evan, he said he would help with an exchange or refund. When I get to the store he tells me that I need to send it to ghd and they will refund me? Umm, I have rights and I’m entitled to a replacement or refund WHEN ITS FAULTY AND, STOPS WORKING AND I HAVE A RECEIPT.
Absolutely disgusting and unfair.casual team member WHO IS NEW and doesn’t know anything about consumer rights or store policys. What if I didn’t want another faulty GHD and wanted to purchase another brand? EVAN PLEASE EDUCATE YOURSELF. You were WRONG, a lady from another store told me i am 100% eligible for a refund or exchange. YOU WASTED MY TIME AND I DROVE TO YOUR STORE FOR NOTHING AND NOW HAVE TO GO TO ANOTHER STORE TOMORROW WHERE THE STAFF HAVE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE AND DO THERE JOB CORRECTLY. JUST DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND UNFAIR. DONT GO TO THIS STORE IN NORTHLANDS. Horrible experience

Went into the shaver shop yesterday had the Worst service from the older Lady working there. She was being so rude telling me she wouldn’t serve me and yelling at me because my younger brother didn’t have a mask on because he has a exemption. I had to my mask on so there was no reason for her to be yelling at us telling us to get out of the shop worse service wouldn’t recommend this place.

Bought Philips Multigroom for my brother. Went to return it as not fit for the purpose without even opening it (the seal was already broken at the time of purchase). When the store lady opened it, she said its used and refuse to return. When I brought it back home and opened the trimmer to check, there was shaving cream in it as well. They actually sold me the used product! Its a shame and the store manager was extremely rude. The Trimmer combs were all sealed in packets including the power cable. NEVER RECOMMEND AND GOING BACK TO SHAVE SHOP NORTHLAND AGAIN. RECOMMEND BUYING FROM AMAZON INSTEAD.

Friendly and courteous service. Staff have plenty of knowledge to give sound advice. Large range of shaving/grooming appliances etc with something to suit all budgets.

I bought a set of clippers, they were absolutely terrible, brought them back in, staff were very happy to swap them over for a different set. Staff spent quite a bit of time with us to make sure the same situation didn't happen again. Went home and tried them - thank you very much! Will definitely buy from your store again.
