Run by dedicated, passionate and immensely talented teachers. They have brought out a sheer love of dance in my children, who would not dance everywhere else! It is always a thrill to watch the students dance.

This is my 11th Year dancing at SLD, and each year has been so much fun!
Every single teacher is amazing and i feel privileged to have them every week. I have learnt everything i know about dance from Miss Sharon and this school! It is also a very friendly and fun environment! All round great school

My daughter has danced at Sharon Lawrence for 6 years. In that time I have not only seen her develop exceptional technique but also strong personal skills. My daughter is self motivated, disciplined, resilient and confident as a result of her training at SLD.

I’ve had the pleasure of watching many concerts over the years. They are always very entertaining and professionally run. I’m always amazed at the talent of the students. I particularly love the tap dancing numbers and the stunning costumes. My youngest son was a student a few years ago and was welcomed into his classes by teachers and students. A positive environment to learn and enjoy dance.

SLD has a fantastic group of teachers, and a really fun & energetic vibe. So great to see so many happy and dedicated students of all ages.

My daughter has been dancing at this school for the past 11 years, and she's enjoyed every single moment of it. She has had the opportunity to learn dance skills of all different genres from very talented teachers. The school also offers a great VCE dance program which she was able to complete and achieve a high score. The end of year concert is of professional standard and the students and teachers work very hard together to achieve this result. The students of this school not only learn dancing, but they also learn various other life skills such as discipline, hard work, commitment, and perseverance. In all, a great dance school for all age groups.

My 2 daughters have both trained at SLD. The school is big enough to provide quality performance opportunities for the children but small enough to provide a friendly family environment where Sharon takes the time to get know each student to develop and encourage the children’s individual talents and skills. The highly skilled dedicated teachers will bring out the best in every student. Very proud to be associated with such a high quality dance school.

This is currently my 14th year dancing at SLD. Over the years I have been offered so many amazing opportunities that I would never have been able to experience anywhere else. The teachers are incredible and I learn so much everyday from their wisdom and amazing talent. I would never be where I am today if it wasn’t for Miss Sharon and I am so beyond great full for the hard work she puts into her studio and students.

The faculty are deeply invested in moulding the kids to be the best they can be and shaping them to enter the industry in the Performing Arts World.
Through their training at the school they have had the opportunity to travel around the world and showcase their talent.
Great Location & really nice studio spaces with a variety of classes.
If you are a seasoned dancer or a beginner there are classes for all.

My daughter has been dancing at Sharon Lawrence Dancers for almost five years and absolutely loves it. She gets to learn so many different styles of dance and is learning from some of the best teachers in the business.
Not only is Sharon’s school teaching my daughter how to dance, she is also learning extremely valuable life skills that will help her throughout any path she takes in life.
As a result of the training my daughter receives, her confidence has soared. She landed the lead role in her school production and has also been accepted into the Australian Ballet School ITP. This is all a direct result of the fantastic training she receives at the school.
It was really important for us, when choosing a dance school, that we choose one that should our daughter want to pursue a career in dance, she receives the best training around.

I have danced almost 11 years at this dance school and it is extraordinary! Not only is the staff and training amazing, but it’s such a friendly environment for everyone and my friends are the most amazing people I have ever met! My daughters have been dancing at Sharon Lawrence Academy of Dance (SLD) for almost 11 years. After dancing at Sharon Lawrence when I was younger, I knew I always wanted my children to dance with her. Sharon is an amazing teacher who knows how to get the very best out of every student, no matter their talents.

I feel Sharon helped shape me into the strong willed, resilient, dedicated and passionate person I am now as an adult. The experiences, opportunities and friendships that were created in my dancing years, have stayed with me and still warm my heart to this day.

Fabulous dance school, professional caring teachers, exactly what we were after - a team environment, great opportunities with dedicated staff and students A+

Seemed like a great place. Until I broght up that Sharon's yelling at my daught has brought her to tears as she was 3 and new to her studio. Sharon said my child was just upset but I could hear that she often called on her instead of incourgment and showing her new student with the steps. She would give out candy at the end without asking me it's ok or if she had allergies. After only being there for a short term and a bit the expectations to preform at the mid year concert I questioned but was told no everyone has to do it and pay the fees. Then later told don't worry if she's not ready. I also purchased 2nd hamd tap shoes that they had painted that I also paid for and on collection couldnt be found and failed to follow up.
