The location of the residence suited our needs. It was a day visit to Geelong so it worked out for us.

Selected this place for it's proximity to the Tasmanian boat, so wouldn't be my first choice normally. Beds comfortable and room clean. Shower had a leak and sprayed water over shower and across the room, soaking my dry stuff. Some lights didn't work.

Biggest downside was the tight carpark. Another room took forever to reverse park their extremely noisy vintage car and filled all the rooms with fumes. We went away for a couple of hours and another vintage car was in our space and the only space left, was beside a truck. We had to do some major manoeuvring to park our car.

What a great hidden gem! The room was spacious, the bed was super comfortable and the location for restaurants was impressive. Highly recommend Shannon Motor Inn

Extremely dated decor. No toilet paper instead they give you the paper that comes out of box in squares. Not worth $190 a night. Most I would pay I this place would be $90. Avoid until they spend some money on that place if you can.

Good size rooms, mattress a little bit hard for us, close to woolworths, bistro, over all good place to stay

Very clean, generous condiments, good quality linen, spacious! Only problem we had was not being able to get reception on our mobiles for some reason, this was rectified once we left our unit and walked out to the main road. Otherwise, a very cared for motel

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Room was good for the price. Staff where super friendly and helpful.

I would not use this motel. They take your money from you credit card as you book, & it says free cancellation they won't give you the full amount back.

Spotlessly presented older style motel with perfect country hospitality at a fair price next door to a hotel and close to takeaway food outlets. Whilst being close to the action, no noise was evident in our room.

You will be not disappointed. I and my boy highly reccommed it. Good price, very clean and wonderful service and big supermarket, Woolworth is just opposite the motel. We will absolutely live here if we come to travel geelong again. We stayed two nights.

Shannon Motor Inn is a fantastic place to stay, the pictures don't do it justice at all, the rooms are incredibly clean upon arrival and cleaned again daily by the awesome owners/staff.

We stayed in the quad room and were incredibly happy with everything.

The owners/staff here were very courteous and professional whilst also being warm and welcoming.

There is a Woolworths across the road, a Bottle-O next door and The Western hotel next to that and there is also a service station across from the Western Hotel.

When we go to Geelong again we will definitely stay at the Shannon Motor Inn.

I called for a room at 10pm, only to be told no, because they told me they closed at 9pm. Don't recommend this place at all.

Rooms were clean and well presented. Had everything we needed. Hosts were kind, friendly and available to help. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay a few days in Geelong.
