Shanghai Street Dumpling & Mini Juicy Bun小街小籠館 reviews
50Foods are good but the seat arrangement really stupid. They let two people sit in front usually for single seat and ask you to ask another table with a stranger. Very Chinese style dining.
This place provides the best combination of reasonable price and signature taste. Try their pork and crab dumpling, cold servings of soy sauce duck.
The service is horrible specially the blonde girl. Its my first time here and they treated me really bad. Anyway food is excellent. You should change the staff.
I like the dumplings here and not too expensive!
I really like it as a spot to go for dinner in the city.
Definitely recommend the dumplings, they taste so pure and juicy! Good atmosphere, though it might get a little crowded. The staff is very polite.
Saw a massive line-up out the front and had to see what the fuss was all about so came back the next day for lunch. Food was authentic and great value for money with large portions - highly recommend the wonton in sweet and sour soup. Very fast service but beware they close at 3pm and last orders for lunch service are at 2: 30pm. Setting was very clean but could do with an upgrade. Pretty cool that you can watch the chefs make the food in the window. Even though the food is tasty, I don’t know if I would line up for it when there is the whole of Chinatown to choose from!
Resonable price.was there just after 5pm.was packed and uncomfortable couldn't wait to get out, guess thats what they wanted.
Never again
Quick, tasty and cheap food here.they always have long queues but the staff seems managed it quite well.
Had the dan dan noodles and the chilli wonton. Both were delicious and highly recommended. Nice spacious room with some nice seats by the large windows.
Great dumplings. Prompt service even though they have been really busy when I went on 2 recent occasions. The food is reasonably priced and very tasty. There's not a lot of seating room so it may pay to be organised or just do takeaway. Just fire the numbers of the dishes that you want to order and the staff will dutifully write down your order and yes, they instantly remember all the dish names and numbers. They know their stuff.
