I've ordered chicken shawarma and it was too bad, bread wasn't fresh as it was falling apart, had multiple mini bones while eating. Just an awful experience!

Unfortunately since the change of management the food quality gone down hill. The shawrma has no taste an Iraqi kebab served on top of dips so comes very soogy, rice used to be very delicious no very plain with egg noodles.

My hubby is Iraqi and has been craving an authentic Iraqi meal and this place was recommended. We ordered several things from the menu and shared it between 8. Food was delicious, portion sizes are very generous and the staff are just beautiful!

If you ever want to try Iraqi cuisines, this is your go-to place. I had never tried Iraqi food before, but I had heard about Shako mako from my friends. This is my first experience of Iraqi food and it not too bad! We almost pretty much ordered different dishes as to explore. They make the Iraqi bread freshly in the restaurant, all food ingredients felt pretty fresh and of good quality beads the salads not looking the best. Their haves meat were quite good and so was the chips. Lamb cutlets looked good and came chips, dips and salad. HSP chicken was also good but chicken Parma was a bit burnt. Overall, food wasn’t too bad and serving was generous. Casual dining atmosphere. Service is okay. You get what you pay for.

Before, their food was good, the last time we bought their food from them, I did not like it. We noticed that there was a change in the taste and lack during presentation, before it was better.

Very pricey and the mixed grill is not mixed at all it’s just kebabs and small chicken thighs. It’s dry and tastes like it’s just fat.

It is the best Iraqi’s restaurant I visit and the staff are very friendly and kind, you feel like you’re with family when go to eat in there.

The best Iraqi food I have ever eaten in Australia. I was impressed by! Keep great work guys. Please try to invest more in customer services.

Just ok, hope they improve the quality of the meat or at least keep it the same and don't go backwards as most of middle eastern restruens do.

As a restaurant we were disappointed over the portion size of meat in meals that meat suppose to be the main ingredients but the dish was like 80%dips with 3 little skewers, is not worth the price you pay for it. As a cafe they have 3 pages menu but half of it is not available.

This restaurant is over priced and has very bad customer service. When I went to order at the counter, I told the lady I wanted to cancel an item and she said she can’t cancel it because she had already put it through the system and if she cancels it will stuff up their system. This was prior to me even paying for the food. After agreeing to pay extra, despite how expensive the food was, I had to also pay for bread when this is usually given out for free at other iraqi restaurants. Horrible service and over priced. Would not go back again.

Fantastic Middle Eastern food so delicious specially IRAQi food, staff really friendly and helpful, weekends preferably rebook yor tables early
