We recently ordered a shade and shutters from Shades of Australia, and our requirements were difficult, due to the awkward shape and size of the space. We were absolutely delighted that Shades of Australia went above and beyond to meet our requirements with adjustments here and there to ensure we had an enclosed space, which it now is. We have relied on Shades to provide our internal shutters and also a large external Ziplock blind. Their products are excellent and their service is even better. We had an ongoing issue with a vibration on the pelmet supplied with our Ziplock blind. After two attempts by providing modified pelmets the problem has been solved. There was never any issue in getting them back to investigate and ultimately fix the vibration issue. Great people to work with.

Was looking for new blinds for our home in Mount Martha and they gave great advise when there are so many options out there. They are a great local small business and were friendly and helpful to work with. Blinds ordered and delivered and installed within a couple of weeks.

Have had all my blinds made here. The staff were quick to organise a technician to come out to quote and measure. Pricing was very good and product quality is excellent.

We wouldn't go anywhere else for blinds - this is our second home with blinds from Shades of Australia. Nathan has been terrific with his advice on which product fits our needs. When we wanted an outdoor awning to shade our study from the Summer heat, his suggestion was perfect & has received many compliments. We recently wanted blinds for the bathroom & rumpus room which still allowed filtered light & we couldn't be happier with the result. If only all businesses were such a breeze to deal with.

Fantastic service. We had problems with an old outdoor awning on a second storey window. Rang the company we bought it from and everything was too hard. They didn't want to know about it or our problem. We had purchased curtains from Shades and thought I would ring to see if they had any suggestions. After explaining the problem to Neil he said 'nothing can't be fixed.we'll work it out.don't worry' and arranged for Cameron to come and have a look. Cameron saw nothing negative about it's height or the age of the awning and arranged to come back with another installer a couple of days later to try and fix it. I'm sorry I don't remember his name. It was awkward for them but they soon had the mechanism replaced and working perfectly. Awesome!
I would also like to thank Carly for her wonderful service when she first came to measure curtains for 3 bedrooms last year and also a couple of weeks ago when she measured for another window.

We have had a major renovation on our home, this required many various types and styles of curtains, from verticals, blinds to drapes. Dealing with Carly was fabulous as she really understood my vision. The upstairs we created a parents retreat and I really wanted it to have that 'luxe' feel, the curtains they made for these two area where outstanding, for the bedroom thru to the retreat/media room - I am truly thrilled with the result.
We did encounter a hiccup along the way but Neil and his son Nathan resolved the issue speedily - I believe that if a company does encounter a hiccup so to speak (which does happen in particular when you are dealing with many trades as we were!), it is how they resolve it which matters the most. Neil handled it superbly so his company Shades of Australia genuinely deserves 5 stars and more! Great work Shades of Australia!

We arranged for a measure for Shades of Australia to visit our new home and measure for blockout blinds which allow us to see out but those outside cannot see in. The measuring took next to no time and we were able to select a colour to suit the rooms in which the blinds were to be fitted. The blinds were installed today and the job was perfectly fitted and looks superb. Well done Shades of Australia!
