Seven Star Pocha- little Bourke reviews
15Well, foods are okay but service was terrible. We asked the suggestion for kid because they didn’t take any spicy, the staff there suggest stir fly noodle but end up spicy. They refused to provide the change. No spicy symbol at the menu.
I'm a Turk and two Korean friends invited me. I loved the Korean chicken. Everything was so good. I gave 5 stars for everything. 4 stars for the atmosphere. Because there was no Turkish flag on the ceiling and Korea is our sister country, why there was no Turkish flag, every country had it, but I love you.
I love it
Amazing
The chicken feet, the fried chicken
The banchan, the cold noodle
Love it
Good service, must try if u re craving korean vibes
The portions are generous. The soy carbs are soooo good it’s so much better than what we have in Sydney. Wish they can open up in Sydney! I definitely would miss it when I go back to Sydney
It was a bit dead when we went (to be fair it was a tuesday night) but the staff were lovely and the music was great.recommend if u were wanting to grab something in cbd and not too long of a walk away.
The food came out really fast, the portions are so big, the food is good for value and delicious and I couldn’t finish everything! Had to get takeaway
Delicious and very generous servings. Lovely staff knowledgeable about the meals. Kids loved dinner especially bean sprout and beef dish. Bimibap and beef bulgogi also great. Highly recommend.
Pocha is always a great time! Came here with a group of 6 and was absolutely stuffed from all the food.
Food was delicious. I got the soy crab and DIY rice ball. The crab was tasty and fresh. Would love to go again
I really love this place. Was looking for a restaurant near my place and found out seven star opened a branch in chinatown. Made a booking for 11 and the process was so easy and the staff who picked up the phone was really friendly. They also gave us the best spot in the restaurant.
For the food we ordered the japchae, onion chicken, honey soy chicken, sweet chilli chicken, seven star budae jjigae, chicken feet, tteokbokki, kimchi pancake and seafood pancake. For me the best menu here is the onion chicken. The chicken is so crispy and they didn’t skimp out on the sauce, which makes it very tasty. The rice portion is a bit much so most of us couldn’t finish it ourselves but it’s a positive thing i guess. I reckon you can order 1 rice to split for 2 people.
I will come back here since it’s a good place to hangout with friends. Totally recommended!
One of the best places for Korean fried chicken! Yummy food, friendly service and large portions, highly recommended!
Loved the chicken and seafood pancake! Especially original flavour and soy garlic. Will be back:)
[ New Branch ] 새로운 위치 in China town
If you’re looking for Melbourne’s best Pocha. You need to try this.
Newly opended in Chinatown as 2nd branch. Double-story restaurants with good vibe.
Food was pretty good with big portion, thus, reasonable price.
I particularly really enjoyed the snow cheese fried chicken. Very tasty and flavourful. Honey soy and creamy onion fried chicken were good too. Raw soy crabs and prawns were very creamy - huge portion, better for at least 3-4 people if you order other dishes too.
Beef soup was good too with lots of meats.
Food was served pretty quickly but the staffs were not attentive even they all were nice and lovely. We needed to walk out and asked/collected things ourselves multiple times. I wish they have bigger tables for big group too.
Worth to note that they dont allow you to have birthday cake in the restaurant. We came with birthday cake. They were happy to keep them cool for us but didnt allow to have the cake here.
Overall, still good experience. Recommended!
