Seven Star Pocha reviews
31Sundae is a bit pricey and taste is alright. Otherwise service is good and fried chicken is crispy (not the very moist kind if you like juicy ones). Egg rice roll with bulgogi is good! Very yummy and beer terra is yum too.
I was excited to try this Korean restaurant after reading the reviews however it was a bit of a let down. First I will talk about the food. The fried chicken was very disappointing, it was more coating than the actual chicken which is a bit sickening to eat cause at some point you only feel you are eating the fried and not the chicken in the fried chicken. Secondly the seafood kimchi pancake was kinda tasty however it was way too oily compared to a lot of places. That's the only two dishes we ordered. For sure the portions were kinda big but I would rather have better quality than poor quality in big quantities.
The staff was kinda okay but a lot of them looked very bored and felt like they didn't want to be here.however they did answer politely when I was asking for different stuff. But the overall feeling doesn't make it very welcoming.
Lastly I don't find the restaurant particularly nice. The sitting is not very comfy.
Overall I would not recommend that place.
Good was fantastic. Ordered beef rib, kimchi pancake, pork rib soup and seaweed rice. All spot on. Service was great. Only thing was the seating was very cramp indoor.
Beware the dishes are huge! Amazing food and great atmosphere, if you don't get there early on a weekend you'll probably have to line up.
Food was great, a must try are the cheese corn and korean fried chicken it’s boneless and crispy with full of flavors. We went there around midnight and it’s jam-packed with people and always a long line. A great place to hang out and have drinks.
Great food, super nice staff, definitely a good place to stop by if you don’t mind the wait time to get in. Has all your classic Korean food favourites, great place to go to get a group of dishes for the group to share. Food quantity and quality were good and everyone enjoyed.
Food was good and they always cater to us when we are with our dog and have outside seating
Great place to get late night food. One staff member was less than accommodating, but everyone else was excellent. We ordered original fried chicken and sake, it was suburb. Will definitely come again.
The place has excellent music taste and nice food. My friends and I are enjoying our timeee here! Would recommend to try eating here
Taste goodspecially the chicken feet pot and fried chicken(creamy onion and soy sauce)
eat here every week
Appalling customer service! Perhaps the chicken was good, but the lqck of welcome, smiles and acknowledgement of us as customers left a bad taste in my mouth. We waited for a long time to get seated and despite the waitress seeing us several times she didnt show the courtesy of acknowledging us. Meanwhile several groups of Korean pushed past us and were seated first. The waiters who brought our food were surly.will never go back. It seemed to me that this restaurant has a death wish.
Service was great, everyone was super nice and helpful, would give that a 5. The food was very tasty. My favorite dish was definitely army stew and taco wasabi.
I really appreciate for great service.
Fast serving speed, yummy food and good service. My favourite late-night place to go with my friends during uni times. Raw marinated crab matches perfecly with a hot bowl of rice.
I visited the restaurant yesterday. The food was okay, but the prices were quite high. Additionally, most of the staff were not well-trained in customer service and I was disappointed with the service. We had gone there to celebrate my birthday and ordered several dishes, including a hot stew. They told us they had a policy of not allowing table changes once an order had been placed, which I found to be nonsensical. I ended up arguing with them and asked what would happen if my friend burned themselves on the soup due to the small table and many dishes. They then said it would be fine to move the table. Additionally, the staff were speaking in Korean and seemed disinterested in serving us, and I felt they were gossiping about us, which was very annoying. We spent almost $200 for just three dishes and received poor service in return. I would not recommend this restaurant.
The staff were so kind and friendly! And the food tasted great It was the best Korean chicken feet food to eat in Melbourne!
The beef bipimbap was very yummy! And if you love fried chicken you must try the original, although I’m sure any of their fried chicken would be delicious The staff are courteous and the seating was comfy… the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars, the price was a bit higher than I’m used to paying for Korean food, but certainly would dine here again
So what's the point of updating your opening hours if you don't stick to it.
This used to be my friends and I late night food. Don't get me wrong great food and service from this restaurant. But this opening hours have really bugged me.
I always come to this restaurant either on a Saturday or Sunday night
1. I used to come here at 10pm to 1am, no problem.
2. Came at 9: 30, last order at 10: 30, no problem either.
3. Came at 9: 30, sat around till 11: 30, no last order and saw customers still coming, thinking they're operating as normal now.
4. Came at 9: 30-45pm, sorry kitchen is closed
5. Came at 8: 45pm, sorry we're closed.
Well I'm sorry, get your time management correct and stick to it. Who even close at 8: 45pm when your opening time specifically says 10: 30pm?
Must admit the food was tasty, however the price is relatively more dearer than all other Korean restaurants especially for Korean street food.
The combine seven star and nana is absolutely blew me mind and heart this nana and seven start japanese korean gem was a great spot to try some unique and yummi food and style dishes and flavour and also and drink.

Very bad experience at Seven Star Pocha, never felt so disappointed and pressured by any restaurant. I have been to this restaurant serval times, this time, the staff member which her name is Gina, according to her she is the restaurant manger, we experienced the worse serves ever! I understand that they are very busy, which they can’t look after everyone, it’s totally ok we stood outside for almost 30 minutes and no one has come to us, we finally seated and ordered few dishes, after 1-2mins we changed our mind and asked the staff member can we cancel the order, and he said yes. After few minutes he came to us the kitchen has start cooking the dish, we cannot cancel the order, after another few minutes, Gina came saying ‘YOU CANNOT CANCEL THE ORDER’ x2 in the hurry tone, she was also pointing at my friend, her body language was very rude! She keep pushing us and denied any of our questions of why we cannot cancel the order, she said multiple times ‘ once the kitchen start cooking, we cannot cancel the order’. This is very ridiculous! Which restaurants doesn’t allow customers to cancel their order? !? We only request to cancel after TWO minutes, it’s not like after 10 minutes we ask for cancelation, just two minutes! She also said 'our kitchen can serve the food straight away' (question: is the food pre-cooked? Even fast food restaurants we need to wait for the order) And we have asked the staff, and he said Yes, everyone is talking about carbon free and no waste food, we realised we order two many dishes between the two of us which asked to cancel! This girl Gina, the restaurant manger did not give us an proper and clear explanations and keep saying the kitchen started cooking you cannot cancel, what you want me to do? We can’t finish the food! No solutions given, she ended up kicked us out! Very bad experience, will never come to this restaurant again!
