Settlement Rd Fish & Chip

I went to this place because i read a review from a bloke who said he and his wife drive from melbourne every fortnight to come here because it’s the best fish and chips in the world.i’ll be honest, i don’t reckon it’s that good but i hate driving so maybe that’s on me.fish souv was banging and had so much garlic sauce (yum). Willing to recommend as best fish and chips in belmont; world domination next. 5 stars.

I’m not local, had to go back after picking up the wrong order and was polite about the mistake, things happen. The two older staff, a man and a women abused me and blamed me for the mistake. I apologised and explained what happened and the man slammed the food and just kept yelling about how I’ve wasted his money and it’s my fault I didn’t check the order when my partner paid, even though we said the correct order number.

We love the fish and chips here, fresh non oily batter. Good sized scollops and delicious chips. The staff are so friendly and remember their customers. Highly recommended.

We never visit Geelong without calling in and getting a feed, have done so my whole life! Best fish and chips around and great service everytime:)

Good old fashioned fish n chips. Delicious, fresh and not greasy. Their scallops are sensational. Highly recommend. Fast and friendly service.

World's best fish & chips. Seriously, I love fish & chips and I have eaten them throughout Australia and indeed, the world, in fish & chip shops, restaurants, cafes, road houses & take away joints. These are the best. My wife agrees. We travel from Melbourne to Belmont fortnightly to get our fix!

Was looking for a decent fish and chips shop after our trip to the beach in Torquay on the way home and this place came to mind.
Fresh flake and great chips! This place deserves five stars, great great great. I will travel far for decent fish and chips. Keep up the good work folks

Nice place for an afternoon jug of Rosè Sangria after a day in the city. Busy popular place. Def worth a vist

Disappointing.
Minimum chips was a small amount for the $$
Didn't realise 2 potatoes would cost $4.50
Dim Sims were dim cheap in a Bag with a good flour taste.
The Chips and potato cakes were cooked well though.
Bonus. Lol

Very helpful and friendly staff, very fresh produce, do yourself a favour and order the Flounder just delicious!

Fish and chip shops dont usually get everything right.u might like the chips or the potato cakes or fish but this place got it right for all three and not greasy would highly recommend

I even ordered some grilled scallops and it came out amazingly well

We’ve just moved to Highton and very happy to have discovered this place. I can’t think of a better fish and chips place. Although we’re yet to try their fish, it’s probably awesome seeing as their chips, burgers, potato cakes and dimmies are all amazing. Friendly staff is the clincher.

Fantastic chips etc, but maybe a more warmer welcome would improve customer servie side of thing's.
Overall happy to return for the quality of the food.
