The legal issues for our sale seemed to be handled but service was very distant with a last minute issue. We were selling a property, 23 hours before the Settlement we were asked for the Title. It was unknowingly with our solicitor in the city which we found out after they were closed the day before Settlement. We had to get into the city by 8.30am with the only option at the time to take the Title to Taylors Lakes, some distance away. After many phone calls, mostly unanswered, we were informed we could take the Title to the Settle Easy city office which was around the corner from our solicitor. This was an unnecessary stressful situation which could have been readily avoided. The signing remotely of documents also didn't work in our favour and we will not use a remote Conveyancer again even if cheaper.

The online documentations required and the processes there is a bit of getting used to. On completing the settlement I then see the whole process end to end. All documentations are stored there and the steps are listed too which are very useful. You need to embrace the online processes, whereas I emailed some documents to Sam directly as I used to the old school way, which on hind sight would have been better for both of us if I load it via the platform. I think it would be beneficial if Settle Easy has a short video on walking through the process up to settlement to help understand the steps involved from start. I would have given it a 5 star if there is a how Settle Easy works video.
