Seoul toast Bong reviews
42This is the best sandwich shop ever, its better than deli meat sandwiches, its the best pricing ever, the toast is out of this world, the beef bulgogi and chicken sandwich slap so hard, i would sell my first born to have this in my home town, if this shop closes down i will emotionally shut down, please dont shut down, please keep making sandwiches, dont let anyone tell u to get any sandwich other than this, if you’re in melbourne you have to try this
We ordered food for delivery from this place once, so this time we decided to visit in person. We ordered two sandwiches, the Egg and Cheese Sandwich, and the Egg, Cheese and Ham Sandwich.
Both sandwiches were perfectly wrapped and served on crispy toast. The first few bites were not as flavorful, but as we dug deeper into the sandwich, the flavors exploded in our mouths!
We really enjoyed the sandwiches. We were hopping that they served coffee too. However, you can easily grab a cup of coffee from a nearby café.
This is a edit as they have changed management or something. The food quality has fallen off a cliff. Sandwichs are half the size, no more chips on offer. The Korean hot dogs we got were still cold on the inside. It's a shame as this place was great, now it's somewhe I will no longer recommend.
The toasts were buttery and full flavour. We ordered the Bulgogi Cheese & K. F. C Cheese (with Mr Bong's Soy BBQ sauce) and loved every bite. A place to come back time and time again!
I've been here a few times and am a big fan their Bulgogi toasted sandwiches, hence the rating.
This time I tried their Japchae sandwich and added Bulgogi. The flavour was good but probably overbalanced with too much noodles and bread, not enough Bulgogi and other filings. Still, it was a good experiment of my favourite things.
The space is small and usually has a steady stream of delivery riders bustling in and out. Order from the QR code or at the counter. Will be back to try out their KFC sandwiches next time.
Great japchae toastie! Would be great if vegan options could be considered though, like a tofu bulgogi!
Hidden in one of Melbourne CBD’s laneways was Seoul Toast Bong (or was it Bong Seoul Toast?). The menu was surprisingly quite large for a sandwich shop which was a pleasant surprise. For dinner we got the Bulgogi egg sandwich with a side of Seoul fries, and a Bacon cheese egg hash sandwich (with an extra hash!). Both were so flavourful so thoroughly enjoyed them, though the Bulgogi was a must try as it was pretty unique. The portions/sandwich fillings were generous, especially for their prices. Service was quick, and would return to try their KFC and Japchae sandwiches, although would takeaway/have delivered next time as the alleyway the eatery was located smelled of dumpster.
The best sandwich I've ever had. It is packed full of ingredients and sauce.
Kfc egg and cheese
Purchased a japchae noodle egg and cheese sandwich and added extra bulgogi meat. There were also jalapenos that gives it a bit of a kick to a perfectly constructed sandwich.
Super leckeres koreanische Sandwiches. Und die Bedienung ist auch sehr freundlich. Muss hier unbedingt wieder essen gehen. Ich kann das Egg Cheese Bacon Sandwich empfehlen.
A small and nice place in a quiet corner of the city. The chips and toast were tasty and filling, and the coffee was good. I liked the chill atmosphere:)
Presentation is on the plainer side but the taste is to die for. The bulgogi cheese was really good! The bread was toasted to a crisp, the meat juicy, and the sauce flavorful. Bit unfortunate that the cheese was only a single slice that I couldn't really taste it though, I think it'd be amazing if they changed it to shredded, melted cheese so it would pack more of a punch (and imagine the cheese pull). Nonetheless it was delicious, and so was the matcha latte. This place is definitely a gem, affordable too.
I love the sandwiches from here. I get the beef with egg and cheese. Price is good and taste is even better.
Had the classic toast combo of egg cheese and hash brown. The toast was crunchy and filled with the egg omelette and cabbage slaw and spicy mayo. Wanted to try the bulgogi and fried chicken but already full. Definitely needs another visit.
Nice cosy place, and very decent prices for what you get! I'd definitely come back here.
: P It was all I want! Two bread n my fav Japchae. I kept the cute sticker to put in my journal, already planning my next cheesy sandwich, see you very soon!
Definitely check out Seoul Toast Bong and get your tastebuds around a delicious sandwich.
Cosy little spot, friendly service and great prices.
We had the K. F. C cheese and will be back to try more for sure.
Closed today 26 Jan. Says open on menulog.
Edit. Eventually went. Very nice liked the more Korean style toast flavours like kbbq.
Good to grab and eat at the park.
Amazing k Sandwiches!
@seoultoast_bong hidden in Healeys Lane (aka KTOWN KIMCHI ST) was the perfect date spot with @winnienelson ️ the food was so authentic and tasty!
Their K sandwiches are all under 10 buckaroos. The bulgogi beef and egg cheese hash were both amazing! Not to mention the bong chips were also highly addictive? MUST TRY!?
We ordered the Bacon, Egg, Hash, and Cheese Toast. It was a handful, but so yummy. There is an explosion of flavours in one bite.
Definitely ordering from them again.
