Seoul Garden KBBQ Buffet - Docklands

Average is the overall rating. I was not impressed nor was i disappointed. It's in line with great avalue dinner + compared to non Asian brunch meal. This is how sad Melbourne dinning has become.

Anyway, the pax on f 5 had no issues getting a table. The food was generous. My part- dessert was sad! I'm not much a meat eater.that said, one of the pax loved the meat offer and said it was 5/5 and great value and looking forward to go again.

Overall, I'm not disappointed or amazed. Just average. But thank you bringing the Korean bbq / more diverse options in HP.

The CP value is high, especially if you are dining with young people, the all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue is a good choice.
The environment is clean, there are not many people dining at lunch time, and it is relatively comfortable.

Food was amazing but it was quite uncomfortable to eat food.the air conditioner was blowing at our table strongly. I asked staff it is too cold and also we are unable to use a burner for an army stew due to the air conditioner.the staff set up our army stew on cleaning bench next to our table and let us eat.it was awful experience our army stew was boiling next to the dirty wipe cloths.

40 mins later, I told staff it is way cold to eat food, but the mention was like they can’t turn off otherwise it could be warm inside.the funny thing was other customers kept wearing their jackets and jumpers…

to us, we didn’t have a jacket or something to cover us.so we did shiver with cold for 90mins while eating food.plus, the air conditioner blows at my side and the smoke and oil didn’t go through the induction pipe.my white shirt
got a bunch of oil marks after having food.when we were paying at reception, I told a lady that it was way cold to eat but she answered like ‘ we can’t help with it sorry’

so when things happen they can’t handle, they just say sorry and left customers in a horrible spot to eat.the problem management was awful, the restaurant just fully focus on to fill up tables with customers to make money.sad service.it shows why good food was not everything.

just read the reply.sad. This place doesn’t wanna lose the table under the air conditioner.but no alternative solution idea for a major problem. Even though it looks like some ppl have agreed what I got serviced.

All you eat KBBQ!
Great selection of meats for the bbq. The standard beef and pork were good. We didn't really like the marinated meats as it can be too sweet and sickening so the plain bbq meats were nice for our group. Plus you can select your condiments for the meat so you can control the dipping and flavour.

There is such a wide variety of Korean dishes besides KBBQ. You everything from Japchae, fried rice, fried dishes, sushi and more. Don't forget they also have soup dishes too. The dessert section consists of a gelato station and smaller bite desserts like biscuits, cake and jelly. Not gonna lie I think a few of the dessert items were from Costco which is nearby.

Overall everything was good.
Just note that there is a surcharge of public holidays.

Such a busy place! You can’t make a booking unless you’re in a group of 6 people or more. We waited for 40 minutes for our table. It was worth it though, food is good. Some of the staff are a bit rude but not all of them, so are very friendly.
So many options. Although I wish they had lamb the second time I went.

10/10 experience, you can find almost anything you are looking for. $50 pp is very reasonable considering the variety of food.

We had a terrible experience. We were a party of 8, but they put us on 2 separate tables next to each other that was not suitable for a party of 8 as it separated the 2 tables. We could see they had other tables that were joined but they said it was booked for other parties. If we had known we were going to be seated this way we wouldn't have booked at this restaurant as it was a family celebration. Secondly, towards the end of our meal the vent in the ceiling collapsed onto our table. Your staff didn't even notice even when we were standing there trying to hold it up and we had to go look for your staff to hand the large tube vent to. No one came to check on our welfare or to ensure we were all right. That pretty much ended our meal. It wasn't until 10 minutes later that a staff came and asked if we wanted to move tables. There was no apology or concern that we could have been hurt. It was a very poor experience and we will not be returning.

The worst food ever!
Service didn’t exist. Had to clear our own tables. Restaurant was so small and everyone packed in like sardines. We all Woke up next day with a bad stomach. Don’t bother. No forks and no tongs to cook food.

Really worth it for the price as it give so many option high quality meat. Also they have the hotpot section and the desert.

Great KBBQ place for all you can eat! A lot of variety of meat cuts and amazing side dishes!
As well as army stew and seafood selection! Can’t skip out on the fresh wagyu meat selection! Usually no line up for lunch time.

Bland Korean BBQ. Huge variety of meat and other cooked dishes but everything tasted like a food court from the past where flavour had been forgotten.

Went here twice for dinner BBQ buffet, except for the long waiting line everything else was incredible! Countless meat selections, fried chicken, sushi, mini hot pot, and plenty of side dishes and snack! Not to mention they have premium gelato to wrap your night!

Came with my family, food was delicious, both the service and atmosphere was good. I especially liked the kimbap and the beef bulgogi too.

It was fun cooking your own cuts of meat at your table. Plenty of choice, clean restaurant, friendly staff

Great food and variety for the price! It does get busy so expect to wait up to about half an hour for a table, when we went they had a qr code at the door to scan, check in and join the queue.meat is halal!

Seoul Garden is a very popular spot and I recommend to have 6 people to make a booking. Otherwise you will just have to be there early to secure a spot. The food is very delicious! However, time allotted is strict because it’s so popular. At the time the restaurant had not even received its liquor license which is just so strange for a KBBQ spot with a bar ready to go. The service definitely needs some improvement such as the having enough staff to clear excess waste on tables. Maybe paying for the bill with a QR code or having an open space for traffic so people can leave and not run into people coming in. Hopefully they can expand soon because it can be very tight space.
