Too spicy! The spicy salsa sauce on the Burrito Bowl is VERY spicy and there is no warning on the menu that it’s even a part of the meal. The first time I ordered it in-store I was very disappointed to find out that the meal is covered in very hot spicy salsa sauce. Some may enjoy this surprise, not me. Put a warning on the menu!

The second time I ordered the Burrito Bowl (via Uber eats) I wrote a note “NO SPICY SAUCE. ZERO CHILLI” which was completely ignored by staff. The meal arrived exactly the same as the first time, too spicy! Again, no warning on the menu AND my request to omit the salsa was ignored completely.

Do I bother to ever try this place again?

The enchilada was cold when I asked to be reheated they gave me a different plate with corn tortilla and I’m celiac.

Chili con carne & enchilads are very authentic. Guc is freshly made and quite zesty. Love the food. Will return again.

Senor Mexico offers an authentic Mexican experience that feels like a journey to Mexico. The combination of Frida art, spanish music & tacos is simply amazing. Our choice of beef fajitas was sensational, featuring flavorful beef, fresh veggies, delightful dipping sauces, all wrapped in soft tortillas. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and look forward to returning.

This was one of the weirdest dining experiences of my life. The wait staff got every one of our orders wrong, I was continuously asking for the same thing, and when it came time to pay they wouldn’t print us a bill…? Once I insisted and we received the bill, I discover we were charged for items that the staff incorrectly gave us.
The food was only just ok. And for the price it was, I expected better.
You’re better off cooking Mexican at home

Very strange dining experience. The food was ok, but disappointing for the price, I’ve had much better, real authentic Mexican in the area for less, the nachos were the best part. The service was terrible. The server struggled with the basics and made errors at every step of ordering, serving our dishes and even printing out the bill. The restaurant was empty so she strangely loitered by our table watching us eat at one point she pulled out her phone and started taking photos of the restaurant with us and one other couple in it (I assume for their social media) which made it even more uncomfortable. Definitely wouldn’t recommend based on value for money and service. Better options in the area.

I love Mexican food, I am in love with this cuisine. Away from the center of Melbourne and its most touristy area is this small place that I really liked.
It is small but cozy and with a decoration that is not overwhelming but gives it a lot of personality. The staff was very friendly and attentive at all times.
The food was really good, it may not be my favorite place for Mexican food but it is well worth it. The tacos are very tasty, well presented and with a lot of quantity.
In general it may be true that it is not worth deviating from the city center but if you are in the area I think it is highly recommended if this type of food attracts you.

The vibe was alright and good value on a Tuesday ($6 tacos), but the food was pretty bland and not too exciting.

I recently dined at Senor Mexico, and I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with traditional Mexican decor and music setting the perfect mood.

The food was an absolute delight! I had the pleasure of trying a variety of dishes, and each one exceeded my expectations. The flavors were authentic and rich, and you could tell that the ingredients were fresh. The guacamole was some of the best I've ever tasted, and the salsa had just the right amount of kick to it.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Mexican cuisine.

I spent a lot of time in my youth in Tijuana, Mexico, and this restaurant brought it all back to me and reminded me of my days on the beach. It's flavourful, authentic annd yummy.

The food is delicious
I met with family for my birthday and we started with nachos for an entre. For the main I had the enchilada with each meat. The serving size is a very good portion. Staff were kind enough to throw me a party and sing me happy birthday

While I can't recall the dish names, the food at this establishment was decent.

However, it leaned towards the pricey side, which left a slightly less favorable impression.

I do want to go again, food was so delicious I feel like craving for Nachos and jalepeno peppers which is in house freshly cooked. Just loved it! Will highly recommend to do visit AGAIN

Cannot fault anything at this place. Highly recommended. Pls go try this place. Tacos and chimichanga were my absolute favourite. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

5/5 on all levels. Love this place. So tasty and great service. If your looking for authentic Mexican food Señor Mexico is your place. When you come here all your Mexican cravings will be fulfilled having some of the best nachos amazing flavourful tacos, great quasadillas but if I named every great dish they had the review would be an essay long.

Second time I’ve ordered nachos from Senor Mexico - both times rubbish. Back to Fonda or somewhere on Swan for me. These are supposed to be loaded nachos worth $18. Not only was the order not ready when I went to collect I could literally hear them being made and yet somehow they were still cold.

Highly recommend this place! Best margaritas I’ve ever had. Must try the tacos and enchiladas. My go-to place for authentic Mexican dine-in experience.

Really great food, and amazing ambience. There are great options from both food and beverage menu if you’re up for a quick bite as well. We ordered a lot of things off the menu and each and everything was upto the mark, It’s a perfect place to satisfy your Mexican cravings.
