It will make you very angry because it cannot meet the basic requirement of a watch, which is to be on time. Even after repairs - when it is brand new

Great service and budget friendly watches. I was not planning to purchase anything when I came into the store. But friendly sales representatives helped me try on a few watches and I eventually fell in love with the pink cocktail time.

Leaving this review for the lies and time wasted on my watch service. Please do not Let this review stop you from meeting with a very polite and well presented assistant sales manager Kenji, he is good value and I will still verbally recommend to see him.this review is for the lies told to me by the service centre. I wish I had the name but I do have the phone call dates and times with the length spoken on the phone. I purchased a brand new watch from a dealer and I explained I got it from EBAY and what the service card had on it, I had my nephew drop the watch off to them be told it’s not acceptable, the reason why made sense to me but what didn’t was I went through fine detail with one of the staff members and instead of offering a remedy or honouring there staffs error I will potentially be out of pocket. If I was told the information explained to me today before hand I was still under the 90day return policy with the seller store and all this would have been avoided. I was a potential buyer with your boutique for my 30th but if your team can’t sort out a cheap watch imagine one in the thousands. Please upskill your staff to actually listen because we went through details and all including what was on the warranty card. I was told as long as I bring the box and that card I will be fine. Don’t lie, don’t waste peoples time because time is money and in this case it’s cost me a refund and no one seemed to care.

Very attentive service … customer focused! Limited collection.watches economy to the hight end side. Small very cosy and bright.
Not all water form Japan.
No parking on street. Better on public transport and if you drive indoor parking is the best.

Don't waste your time in sending to them. I send my watch for repair in February, now is end of September and I have yet to received my watch. Been calling and calling them asking my watch status and always the same reason was given (Waiting for parts).

*Update
Seiko Melbourne has since refunded me for both watches, repaired with warranty as such I've amended my review from one star to three stars

The service centre here is terrible, I had two watches sent in for repair.firstly, they recorded my name, email and phone number incorrectly so I didn’t get any messages about the quotes on the watches and they couldn’t find the watches submitted. Luckily I called otherwise I’d never know what happened or lost my watches.

Eventually when they did find the watches I was told my solar watch would need a full service and take 10 weeks to repair. 32 weeks later I finally got my watch back only to find they didn’t reset the watch properly (the stopwatch and minute hands reset at 1 instead of 12) and the “B” button on the watch also doesn’t work.

My other watch was sent for a full service quote and band lengthening. It needed only a new battery, pressure test and band adjustment. I was told this would take a month to complete. 4 months later I finally got the watch back to find one of the pins needed repair (something that should have been picked up during the initial quote or noticed while adjusting the band length) originally they wanted to charge me to repair this but after some back and forth they agreed it was something they should have fixed/noticed in the original quote and agreed to fix it for free.

Unfortunately for me Seiko Melbourne’s version of “fixed” was to put in a new pin that was too long for the band and resulted in a burr that stuck out from the band. Not wanting any further problems or delays I ended up fixing the pin myself.
All up I’ve spent almost $350 in repairs for a “boutique” experience (not including the numerous support worker hours I’ve used from my ndis package to have my support workers make multiple trips to to their store to handle their terrible service experience.)

I’ve been a lifelong Seiko fan and have only bought or wore Seiko watches for over 20 years. The watches I had repaired had a lot of sentimental value as they were sports watches I used before acquiring my disabilities and needing to stop sport/work.

They offered no reparations or amends for the poor services received. (Apart from the dodgy pin) I can only imagine if this is how Seiko Melbourne treat their disabled clientele how must their abled bodied clients be treated?

I would not recommend getting repairs here and in the future I’ll consider using or buying other watch brands as the customer service here was extremely inept/poor

Service/ Repair Department. Slow and poor communication.

They have had my watches since 11th FEB 2023 (more than 4 months!)

They delayed quoting my watches due to them recording my email wrong (they had.com before the @. No one internally bothered to check?).

They said they would prioritise my watch repair because of that but still quoted 42 days.

Its been 70 days since.without any communication and 137 days since handing over my watches.

In store service was ok, however a warranty repair that was quoted as 4-8 week turnaround actually took almost 4 months, with no communication during this time.

Seiko service department has been great right from reception, coordination, the watch maker to the day you collect your watch. Very understanding on my issues and always contactable.

The after sales service backs up the watches very well.

The reps were well spoken, attentive, welcoming, very informative and professional.

There is a good service here, and watch styles can be ordered in advance. Very satisfied, unexpected gift.

It’s a bit stuffy, Grey and clinical for a brand that makes some fun watch models. I think it’s more of a Grand Seiko boutique even though they take up 20% of the watches. Staff are helpful but seem bored and tired. Surely there’s a better more exciting retail experience out there. Some Japanese art and loose the suits would be nice.

Words can't say enough here, beautiful store and even more beautiful staff. Kenji and Danielle have been super friendly, helpful and patient.
I've been here about 4-5 times as I toss up what my next piece will be. Would love to own a GS soon but the options are great.

Was my first ever time going into a watch store and purchasing my first piece so I was nervous but as soon I walked in, i was greeted and received great service from the staff.
Many thanks to Kenji for his exceptional service and friendliness. He made it a memorable experience for me!
All the best to the team:)

Took 6 months to repair my watch under warranty then tried to return it to me with new problems.

Then they tried to tell me my watch didn’t exist in their system and they didn’t have it.

Then they stopped returning my calls.

$5000 watch.

10/10 would not recommend.

Staff have great love and knowledge of Grand Seiko watches. Some limited editions, and some of the 4 seasons are available.

Rating is for the brand. The crown thread on a $500 watch threaded through normal use. Have never forced or mistreated the watch. Have never had this happen with another watch. They want $400 to fix it. And the watch is no longer usable when it was when i took it in to them. They removed the crown which was otherwise working fine. Feel like I've thrown $500 in the bin. Very disappointed.

I do not recommend buying or servicing your watch from this shop. I won't be recommending it to anyone. Not sure what the owners objectives or ideas are on how to go about selling a watch or repairing a watch but it's not good compared to the competition. I'd rather by my low end Seiko from Myer and my high end watches from kennedy where you get a full luxury high end service.

Quality service and friendly staff. Given the opportunity to try on and inspect a few watches I was interested in and staff answering any questions I had… without the incessant sale pitches to buy something. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to make the right watch purchase
