Seedling Cafe reviews
63Loved that they had so many gluten free options! I tried the waffles and they were delicious!
I'm gluten free and vegan. Looked up vegan options near me. Found this place. Realised the whole place is gluten free. That's just amazing. Nice little Cafe. People working there were nice. Got a Frittata and a salad. The frittata was the best thing I've ever had. I highly recommend.
Yum!
I had the Golden latte and the Super Smash, which is really tasty with the mix of seeds and the tomato 'paste'.
Soy cap, Tummeric Porridge and toast with jam for breakfast at Seedling Café. And revisiting during a two-week café crawl had me breakfasting on lactose-free cappuccino, fruit toast (only one slice made it into the photo) and Tropicana Smoothie Bowl.
Oh my goodness! I only discovered this cafe a few weeks ago, and honestly I’m already hooked.
As someone who can’t eat gluten, this cafe is a godsend.
I’m not vegan, but I also can’t eat eggs (because why not) so I tried their vegan frittata. It’s so delicious! I don’t know what magic is inside it, but I’ll be coming back for more.
Thank you team for making such amazingly delicious, and belly friendly food.
Love the warmth of the space but found a staff member a little rude…she also made a terrible coffee, burnt the milk. Food overpriced but normal price for the area.
Found delicious and healthy food here for my morning coffee during business trip. Love the decorations and friendly staffs!
I ordered a coffee, it's good, but the service was very bad, the truth is, not very recommendable, not at all friendly
Favourite cutest tiny cafe with the most delicious gluten free food. Helpful friendly stars. Highly recommend for the GF tribe (or anyone) when your in the city. The cafe is tiny with limited cosy seating so take note if you arrive in in lunch peak hour. I’ve always been able to get a seat.
I would give this cafe zero stars if I had the option to. Cafe has horrible staff and is very overpriced. I paid $9 for a frittata slice which was very small in size. I asked the staff to heat it up for me, and she packed the frittata in a takeaway cardboard box, microwaved it for less than 10 seconds and handed it to me. Horrible service, will not be going back.
I came here for breakfast. Was ignored by two staff members, one at the counter whilst I was standing in front of her. Finally got a menu as I asked where it was and took it. The prices were very expensive. Decided if I'm going to pay that much for breakfast, it's going to be at a place where I'm acknowledged as a customer.
Would give 0 stars if I could. The service was terrible. The two female staff members were very rude. No real vegan options for a lunch meal. Açai bowls are over $20 and are smaller than my fist. Seats outside are basically on the road, next to the cars and pollution. Tables were dirty with food still left on them and had our things snatched away from us before we were done. Again, TERRIBLE SERVICE and NO VEGAN MEALS/VEGAN OPTIONS. AVOID.
Ordered 3x smashed avo with 2 eggs added to 2. Very tasty but missing an egg on each. Advised waiter, and waited for the eggs. Food got cold, asked again and they'd forgotten about it. Eventually got eggs, but the rest of the meal was now stone cold. We were offered a free caramel slice, rejected and asked for a refund. They refunded the cost of two eggs - $6. On a $100 breakfast. Won't be back.
Arrived 40 minutes before closing only to be told that they were closed. Person ahead of us was ordering. So I guess they just didn’t like the way we looked.
Tiny place in the heart of the city but a great selection of healthy options, including a lot of veggie and vegan choices.
Impressive array of gluten-free options, particularly for breakfast. After eating big cooked breakfasts elsewhere, I loved the acai bowl and how well I felt afterwards! Seedling was my fav place to eat on my last visit to Melbourne.
Really good cafe concept with friendly staff, but the açai bowl portions are a lot smaller than expected for the price and the sandwich was nothing to write home about. Overall, a good choice for a quick lunch with vegan options.
Absolutely to die for! This place is amazing! Food was delicious and all Gluten Free! Definately will come back again!
Had the vegan frittata. It was tasty and good texture. Coffee was excellent - small flat white with almond milk
Omg! What a find! We had the poached eggs and the waffles. Soooo good! Everything on the menu is gluten free! What a little culinary oasis in the city!
