Unprofessional and inexperienced. Also discriminate against age. My grandfather has 20 years experience and applied for job, they turned him down and we all know it’s because he’s a senior citizen as their guards are all young and look fresh out of high school.

I worked here for 6+ years. Management pick and choose when to defend staff and when contractual obligations are more important despite ethical and WHS contradictions.
They tend to exhibit a non-progressive level of culture regarding understanding mental health or they just prioritize it very poorly as keeping a contract is more important.
I can safely state that SecureCorp barely defends staff rights as contractors to other companies as I watched several staff removed from various sites where I was employed over the years for reasons that warranted their actions in-line with our rights as security officers.
To their credit, some members of management understand and take great steps to collaborate and problem solve, however this is rare.
Low and mid level security staff are under the constant pressure of scrutiny with small mistakes making people fear for loss of employment and extreme stress which impacted upon people calling in sick or stress leave.
The HR department did nothing to have these issues addressed, and I can safely say that I don't think I knew of or met anyone in the HR department despite these issues that I raised with the company.
Looking back, I would of made further actions for the defense of my staff if I had the knowledge I had now due to my current studies.
I am glad to have put this company behind me.
I hope that this is read, and the company takes a degree of self reflection when reading this review. I sincerely hope that they work better to understand staff mental health and the actions / decisions staff take due to issues being raised and not addressed appropriately. They should work better at listening to and defending staff where complaints are valid instead of throwing their hands up to the air and forging on because they fear losing a contract over defending their core values of integrity and respect. If this culture continues, you will continue to fail to retain valuable staff.

Two Securecorp goons came out of the State Library of Victoria last evening, asked whether I had a permit to photograph then told me to pack up and leave. I abide by the requests of private landowners, and if the Library forecourt has been privatised, I would like to know. Otherwise, I will not have bored weasels deny me my civil rights

Terrible company. The management here is terrible. When I was getting induction, Con was very rude and incompetent. He swore at me, got angry and proceded to use his anger as an attempt to control and abuse me over the phone, his attitude was very patronising and condescending. The receptionist Catherine was very rude over the phone, her messages were very impersonal and when I told her the line was noisy she said "what do you expect? It's an office". When I asked for assistance, her advice was generic and impersonal yet again. I had to do the same paperwork twice. I did 2 hours of induction for the computer from home completing 12 different modules, and when I came to induction to Con's office, he made me do the same thing all over again. Waste of my time. The staff here are very slow with emails, very rude, abusive, aggressive, and incompetent.

All of the managers I've worked for in the hospitality, retail and labouring industries have been much better than the staff here. My friend also quit as she was being bullied at work by Con, swearing at other employees, forcing her to jump inside a bin, and also expecting people to know things without training them properly.

Terrible company. Would never recommend them to anyone given how they abuse and mistreat their staff.

Promised the world - then cut wages by 15k, someone failed to turn up after a 12 hour shift so they told me I had to work there 12 hour shift as well and then my next 12 hour shift (36 hours straight) don't believe anything they tell you.

I just want to thank the guys at Secure Corp in Southgate for finding this ring that has such sentimental value. You were all so helpful even when my husband and I were so distressed. A very poor company to work for.money is excellent, but mangement very poor. Human resourse treated me like rubbish.i got the sack with no apperent written reason. All in All do not waste your your time with this mob.

Unprofessional and time wasters. Don't even bother going to they're security interviews as they don't bother to call back or even email to tell you that youve been successful or not.

Unprofessional, the worst job application setup i've ever come across, at least the long company sites have auto fill in once you've done it once.

Staff is horrible too, and still putting people on rotating rosters AKA insomnia AKA organ damage/poor work performance.

Hire these guys if you want someone to break into your venue 5 times in 1 year, twice within 7 days. Fascinating stuff

Eminem concert, Had too remind the guards on gate 4 an 2 too search my bag 3 times as they said just go thru? (I exited the MCG 4 times an reentered) one member of there security team was dragged away by another security officer (unprofessional). No smoking event security standing with people smoking. Noticed some security staff where not given breaks. One security office walking around like he was a terminator (black gloves on an shocking attitude. Looked really unprofessional. Security turned ablind eye too the drug use going on right in front of them. God help if something serious happened this security team is a dangerous undertrained corporation

I found this security company very unprofessional. I had a bit of an altercation with one of your unfriendly staff members who happens to be completely ignorant of what the term security means. This staff member who’s name is Raj refused to help break up a fight due to the fact that he believed that it was not his concern and that ‘people will be people’ and that they need to learn their lesson. What is the point in having security if they are just going to stand there and spectate a fight going on? I will go far and wide to ensure that this company does not receive business. You have hired absolute lunatics without doing a thorough background check as to whether this would be a suitable candidate for the job.

Been here a short time but found all staff helpful, friendly and no issues at all. But I work hard and do my job 200% ability so i don't see why there should be issues. Thanks for the job team. Love it!

Wasted time drive all the way there and they don't even have enough work they interviewing billions of people and not enough so don't waste time going there

Very good company nice people and if you work here there is a lollie room so i think that you should not judge our company and just give it a shot because one day maybe you will be invited to the box in the MCG so be nice and please don't put hate comments out there.

Worked at the Comm Games for Securecorp and they put all stakeholders at risk with their complete mismanagement. They've now not paid anyone and a class action has been formed by the relevant union.

Do not work for this company under any circumstances!

Second worst company to work for. I have never worked for the company but I know others who have. I've been inducted at the Mulgrave branch. The management there are some of the most ARROGANT people that I have ever met! They treat the guards like their animals! They offered me work but I turned it down because i didn't like the management in the company. And as I said I have had friends work for this company and they were also treated very badly. My advice look elsewhere for a job!

Have seen this company DECEIVE BOTH CLIENTS AND STAFF to save their miserable selves from looking like the incompetent minuscule minded simpletons they are. The system of this company is rotten to the core.
If you are a CORPORATE CLIENT think again and go elsewhere. I have seen the capacity of this company to out right lie to clients faces and tear down anyone they can hang as a scapegoat.
If you want to employ from the Securecorp ranks at head office, their corrupt methods will bring discontent amongst your ranks and you'll be left wondering what happened. If you are looking for work, you will be exploited and your entitlements will be revoked any dirty way they can find, leaving you to bare the cost and distress of fighting for what rights you have left all the while tearing at you in hope you give up and walk away. Well don't, FIGHT for what is rightfully yours. Use government system in place to do so or workplace lawyers, the union is in cahoots with them too and wont uphold the rights of workers either. This IS AN INDUSTRY TO AVOID, especially this company. This has been a small part of my experience with this company over many years.
