If you are not from Melbourne, this is THE only Homewares store you need to visit. "Scout House" offers an eclectic range of new, vintage and industrial items that that you won't find anywhere else. Staff are fabulous, and if you can't make it into the store, online orders are very carefully packed and posted quickly.

From the very first contact, Scout House was outstanding: clear website pictures & descriptions, quick & helpful responses to queries, and exceptional efforts to find a secure, long-distance furniture delivery service to our VERY remote sheep station homestead. The bed arrived in perfect condition (and colour, just as shown on website) - and is beautifully made: strong, robust, very high quality frame and base, lovely design. It gets a lot of big beefy pastoralist wear & tear - and years down the track looks and performs as it did when new. Thankyou Scout House!

It was an inspired choice to have Scout House provide our Queen-sized bedhead and mattress frame. The pale green bedhead complements our other traditional Australian furniture and is a daily reminder of the value of handmade products that respect the process and commitment to the quality of goods individually crafted by hand. I bought in 2015 a folding clothes horse/airer, and 8 years later, I am not disappointed. To this day it is still looking like new, and gets plenty of laundry use. It's made of fabulous quality.
