Soggy chips, did not ask if salt is needed before packing, requested for extra $0.3 for grilling the fish and the fish was grilled with crust on

Terrible. Potato cakes were soggy at pick up. No hole in paper to allow crispiness of potato cakes to maintain. I asked for flake fish and we all received fish that wasn’t flake at all. The positive reviews don’t match our experience. Very poor quality.

Without a doubt the worst fish and chips shop in the eastern suburbs. The batter is doughy and soft. Chips are hard and brown due to using old oil and not being fresh. Potato cakes were raw and gross on the inside. Have been here twice and never again. Very, very ordinary. You have been warned.

I got the Schnitzel pack, it was slightly burnt and not that great. My partner got burger with the lot, he liked it.

Very clean friendly service. Fast service with a good serving of chips as minimum. Potato cakes were terrific. Thick tasty and no oil excess.

Very disappointing with the fish and chips! Everything we ordered was soggy! Called to complain and the owner wasn't interested nor did he even tried to have a happy customer!

Simply the best fish and chips around Boronia. The amount of chips that is "minimum" is HUGE.
And their gyro packs - especially the chicken ones are amazing!

Nice fish very large size potato cakes and crispy chips that are not dripping oil unlike some other places. Very good prices too!

BEST Calamari rings and the Cook, cooks them perfect and it's the only place that I will buy them from as they that good!

Good outer suburban fish and chips. For a non coastal fish and chips I rate this place. You can't go wrong here.

No to impressed with the quality of the food.
We ordered $30 worth of food, 2 flakes which were both soggy, 3 calamari rings tasted like they were not cooked properly also soggy, potato cakes not to bad had a little bit of crunch to them

Genious idea being open on Mondays, for those of us with cravings outside societies regular trading hours.
Great little shop with all the usual bits. Cheap, but still delicious! Giant potato cakes, lovely fish and chips.and a delicious deep fried Mars Bar!

First time I've hd fish n chips this year and it was bloody awful. Fish was limp and not at all crispy. Potato cakes were tiny. Why is it so hard to find decent fish n chips these days. It's about time people had pride in their work

Best fish and chips I've had for ages, everything is hot and crispy and the onion rings are out of this world. I would go just for onion rings

Just moved into the area & this is the best one around. Has fresh fish, not greasy, large size potato cakes and pricing is very good. Will return.
