Schnitz Armstrong Creek

I don’t mind waiting for food but if the wait time is +30min then I think we should have been informed before we ordered (not after).

My partner and I come and eat in often as we enjoy this schnitz the most out of any in Geelong, last night was the best we’ve ever had everything was perfect, i don’t know her name but the girl who often wears her hair in braids always makes the food very well last just was just better then ever, one thing I did notice was she was doing a lot her self it was around 7: 30 all the other workers were out the back playing their music not helping her at all. One worker was standing around talking to someone else dining in for awhile, to his credit he did service us right away as we walked in.

Please thank the girl, I wanted to myself but she was out the back as we left.

Went to go there at 11: 30am of Saturday, the sign out front said closed and the staff were eating inside. Obviously they open after the staff have eaten.

Holly (hopefulky I got her name right, working on Sunday evening) is such a wonderful worker and the speed and efficiency she was working she need to be recognised!

Didn’t like the customer service and asked bit extra seasoning on chips and they gave us salty chips on purpose i think. Chicken was undercooked.first shnitz with this bad experience.

Order didn’t arrive, after being notified of “delivered”. This exact same thing happened 3 months ago, and it was blamed on the delivery app service! We used a completely different delivery service this time and same thing happened. Feels like it might not be the delivery service after all….

Shocking customer service! I don’t really know where to start, there was no greeting, no communication. At least 6 staff on as I stood at the counter heavily pregnant with the 2 year old crying. People walked past me and said nothing, I stood there for 10 minutes and had no choice but to leave. I think on a Friday night at 7: 30 the counter should have someone on it taking orders. Disappointing and rude!

This is the second out of three times that the food has been terrible. Won’t go back again. This time I ordered a plain and simple and paid extra for bacon and when I got home it had chicken, lettuce and sauce, that’s all. No onion, no tomato, no bacon.

Had dinner with my kids at the new Armstrong creek location. Everything was cooked spot on, chicken was tender yet crispy, wraps were made to perfection and the lettuce was crispy and not soggy like we've experienced at other locations. The female that served us and cooked our meals was super friendly and she cooked everything perfectly. Restaurant was spotless and there's plenty of parking too. I'm shocked there's not a line out the door food was that good!

Arrived at schnitz and was greeted by a lovely staff member who took my order with grace. The order was made very quick with quality and was served with a smile on their faces. The staff seemed very happy to be there and the environment was enjoyable to be in. I really enjoyed my food and would 100% go back many times!

The foods good, but the shop rarely answer the phone if you call for a pickup. Every time I go there's different staff working which is normal I guess, most are friendly, some treat you like you're making them do self harm by taking your order lol

I’ve always been a die hard schnitz lover, hence my excitement when I found out that it is just around the corner from my place!

In the rain riddled streets of Armstrong Creek, myself and my two acquaintances arrived unstruck by the winter winds. At the hour of 13: 00, we placed our to-be hallowed orders. I enticed myself to a burger, whilst my friends treated their selves to some delightful parmi's. Minute after minute ticked, and we soon realized that our order may never come. With 5 minutes to left, i had to dash, sullied by the damage of waiting for 30 minutes for my meal. Arriving at my place of education, heart beating through my chest as if i was being whipped on the back of my dire lungs, i sat and reflected on the ordeal. Walking drenched by the rain of the north, my acquaintances struggled to the end, before finally collapsing, 1 having an asthma attack. For my trials and tribulations i was rewarded with a cold meal and a cold impression. For never again, shall i order from "Schnitz" for my impression is forever imprinted with the blight of my experience today. I nearly lost a friend, a meal and my hope. Although I eventually managed to sit and enjoy my meal through our collective strength.

My forefathers fought in wars ranging from the bloodied trenches of France and the blistering Arabian peninsula to the Streets of Berlin and the Rural roads of Spain, for was it all for nothing? Is it not the job of the previous generation to provide a safer place for the next? Generations of people have suffered, innovated and toiled for the chance to bring around something greater, i have no doubt in my mind that the founders of "Schnitz" had this same goal in mind. Although i fear that the true meaning of innovation has been lost in translation.

Normally i am not a religious man, it's never been a part of me, but today i pray that proper reform can take place so others need not to struggle the way i struggled today.

They had a choice

Over 20 dollars for a parmigiana that wasn't bigger than the fork it came with is not great value in my opinion. The box was sadly misleading for my first schnitz experience. Any other pub parmi way better value.

Terrible customer service. Told us our takeaway would take 20 mins. At the 30 min mark we asked where it was and they replied sorry it’s not here must still be coming. At the 45 min mark after noticing people after us had come and gone we again asked, we pointed to a bag that had been sitting there for 25 mins with “no name” written on it. It was our order. Even though they had asked for our name and we had given it to them when ordering in person. They basically blamed us, offered no apology and gave us our stone cold chips and wraps. The worst experience, the chips were inedible by the time we got them home. What a waste of our money.

Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful and staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. The dining experience overall is very pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Got my order wrong and gave me falafel.
I don't mind too much but it dented my day. It's okay though, I understand there can be mix ups sometimes. On a plus, I got to try falafel which I wouldn't really do. Didn't like it, but a new experience anyway.

Worst Schnitz In Geelong.
Never in my life have I had a worst experience at a restaurant in my life, walked in today to schnitz at around 3pm and was the only customer in the store.

I ordered the most simple thing 2 large chips, garlic aoli and a kids schnitz meal. So simple and easy, apparently not for the staff at schnitz Armstrong Creek. They proceeded to stand in the kitchen for 5 minutes before scooping some cold soggy chips into two bags and hand them to me and my family, they then handed me a chilli mayo and after taking my money for a water for the kids meal handed us a random juice instead of what was asked and paid for and told us only after paying that they didn't have water.

Had to come back becuase all the food that had just been handed to us was stone cold, asked for fresh cooked chips since the ones we had were cold and she decided to hand us back 2 large chip bags filled barely half way and this time instead of a aoli she handed us some curry sauce AGAIN, not what was asked for at all and the staff could not care less about it.

Worst service, crappiest food.
ONLY GO HERE IF YOU WANT STAFF TO GET YOUR ORDER WRONG SO MANY TIMES THAT YOU GIVE UP AND LEAVE.

We gave 3 chances and ended up leaving with nothing we asked or paid for.

Disgusting service for a relatively new store.

Amazing food and great service, Will definitely be coming back again? The service was fast, friendly and top notch! The food was very tasty and ready really quickly.
