The service is always lovely and the food is fresh and tasty.
It would be great to see a combo deal on the menu as the drinks are quite expensive on their own.

Worst place to be. Inappropriate manager and staff. Worst cases for uber eats delivery boys. If you want spent some where a good dinner, then there are 100 of other restaurant in Melbourne.

Website advised they open at 12pm. After arriving at this time we were advised they don't open untill 12: 30. After waiting for 30 minutes we were then told it would be another 15 - 20 minutes untill they opened.
We have been waiting a long time. Outside the shop. Had we known it was going to open an hour late we would have left a lot sooner. Additonally the last time we came the chicken was burnt.
Awful place. Very poor value for money. Taste was average. This is fast food served slow. Adults shouldn't eat here.
We ate in and the table was not wiped properly. A bit sticky! I noticed the table next to us was piled with dishes and wrappers from previous customers when we sat down.
After a while the staff took the garbage away but didn't wipe it down before the next group sat down. If you cant wipe a table then don't allow people to sit there. It's covid times. Even without covid that gross and dirty.
If you like snitzel go to a local cafe, takeaway, pub or RSL for better food and ambience for half the price. Most people who go to this kind of takeaway have reasonable expectations about what they want to eat. The place is like McDonald's or Hungry Jacks but with snitz.
If the meal is described as having chips then put some chips on the plate. Chips are very cheap to buy wholesale so don't skimp. That's why a lot of places bulk out thier meals with chips. I guess 6 chips is technically plural but the picture on the menu had a lot more than six. I reckon I could have eaten at least 8!
There's a lot of positive reviews here and to be fair the reviewers experience may have been different to mine. Alternative universe different.
Reviewers giving 5 stars and "best snitz ever" need to turn it down a bit. Get out and eat at some nicer places. Most of them can't be found in shopping centres.
Of all the places that serve snitz (there's a lot) this would be the bottom of the list.
I wanted to give 2 stars because my food was really tasty but unfortunately after dining in last night with my sister, we’ve both woken up vomiting. It was the first time we’ve caught up in a while so our feed last night was all we can relate it to. The staff member who served us also just seemed annoyed because we came in 45 mins before closing. Again, i really enjoyed the food but it just made us really sick
Ordered beef OMG wrap with no pineapple. Got OMG with no pineapple and no meat instead. I brought it to their attention so they took it back and prepared a new one. This time there was meat in it but it was chicken not beef.
Lovely staff and food. They were busy when I came in ordered but they acknowledged me and served with a smile. The food was amazing There OMG is so filling and flavourful.
Enjoyed dinner, avo smash parma is worth trying. Better portion size than other schnitz store I tried. 1star less coz it's a bit too overpriced.
Clean restaurant with plenty QR codes around to check in. The girl at the cashier asked for vaccination certificate when I wanted to dine in. Wonderful and efficient service.
Burnt black last time I was there, and this time they let my order go cold while I was standing there waiting for it because they didnt announce it was ready or chnage it to ready on the app. Pathetic really.
Always get a wrap, usually the garden of Eden and its great being able to choose your crumb! Never disappointed and the chips are so addictive, no idea what the seasoning is but I need it at home. The staff have been great during the pandemics and have lots of measures in place to keep everyone safe.
Great job! You only lost one star because every time I order, the price has gone up slightly.
Order food they did not deliver when organising to pick up manager throw my food out and told us she wasn't going to make any
Took over two hours to arrive through Menuflog and the food was cold when it arrived, and to top it off, the order was incorrect. Customer service seems to be a thing of the past in today's world we live in. I understand it's a Friday night and you're busy but get it sorted! Disappointing from both parties.
Stopped ordering through Uber because the food just arrives cold these days with the “Next Stop”. Ordered through the Schnitz website a few times and they use Doordash, you’ll be lucky to get your food at all. Would rather cold food than none. There was ONE time I did not have problems through the Schnitz website, not worth it.
If anyone thinks about ordering through Menulog, especially to order Schnitz, please think again.
I'm all about supporting local and usually order from independent restaurants, but chose Schnitz Greensborough for a change. Ordered at 6.10pm (ETA as 45-50mins for delivery), order wasn't approved by the restaurant until 6.35pm, by this stage I was already on the phone checking whether they were actually open.
I proceeded with the order, to which it said delivery would be 7.45pm. 7.50pm arrived, still no food, my 7 year old daughter in tears from being so hungry! Back on the phone asking where our food is, with them trying to offer a $10 voucher for our inconvenience.
8.25pm, food finally arrives. Cold, wrong parma (which looked like it was run over by a truck), salad missing and my daughter's food was tasteless and soggy.
I called Schnitz directly, rather than dealing with the 3rd party and the manager was useless. Couldn't find my order, blamed Menulog for not having drivers and that they could do nothing about the food being cold. I told them I needed them to provide me with the parma I ordered and the salad that was missing and they said it was too late to organise a driver to do this.
Now, I am a level headed person, who gives things a chance, but this has happened too many times with Menulog, all with different local restaurants. Service is non existant and they don't care - you can tell they have scripts at the call centre.
Moral of the story, should have ordered a pizza.
