When you 1st walk in, you'll see the prices and the size of the baguettes and think to yourself "Geee am I about to get ripped off"

Let me tell you, these sandwiches are super filling and flavoursome. In comparison, these sandwiches are more filling then Roco's Deli sandwiches!

You won't be disappointed!

The vegan deli sandwich was elite and on par with the vegan Smith and Deli sandwiches! YUM

You can tell the ingredients are fresh by the. Bread was crispy and held the filling together well.

Although it cost $17 (with chilli), the portion is size-able so you will be full.

Do yourself a favour and get the best sandwich in the west! The Say Cheese family have created a really warm space, tucked into a soon-to-be iconic arcade, smack bang in the middle of Footscray. Come check out Say Cheese Deli, Such a satisfying brunch! The crunch of the bread and lettuce, right amount of sauce and the stacks of meat. I had a good time and meal here. Had kariton ice cream after as dessert nearby.

Scrumptious sandwich! The “say cheese deli” sandwich had a very generous serving of three meats and was so flavourful! Definitely good value for your money! I’ve also tried the honey cheese sandwich, the perfect amount of sweet and savoury. Would highly recommend!

Cool concept and idea but for the price point I have to honestly say there is room for improvement. My sub in particular was wet from the soggy lettuce.

Got the classic deli and it was incredible! Everyone who works there was so nice and friendly and I'm absolutely coming back to try the other sandwhiches, could not recommend enough.

Super friendly service! Arrived at 11am to pick up an early lunch and absolutely no lines on a weekday. Small menu but all the options sound fantastic. Had to get the OG at the top. Cost was $16. Bread was crispy and chewy. Super generous filling and balanced with meat and lettuce. Didn't feel greasy like other toasties/sandwiches.

Been a sandwich man my whole life, the search for the best sanga shop was a long and treacherous one, but we found it in the end. Can't recommend Say Cheese enough for those who need their sanga fix!

Had the deli sandwich which was delicious! My partner got the vegan deli and loved it aswell! Highly recommended!

We had a grilled cheese sandwich and a deli sandwich. Both were so tasty and staff were very friendly. We really enjoy the $3 black coffee that comes with free refills. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great energy staff with a new concept sandwich shop.
Tried the "Say Cheese Deli" sandwich, and it was fantastic. The bun was perfect, fresh and crisp. The cheese added lightness and texture to the whole thing. And the flavours all in all were great. Definitely check it out.
It's a bit on the expensive side for a sandwich, but it's so much better than "a sandwich".

Besides, go support a new local business!
It's next to the flower shop inside the passage way.

We rolled down with the Good Ideas guys for lunch and it was delicious

Crispy rolls with tasty fillings, we tried the Say Cheese Deli, Bocadillo De Jamon and the Cheese Grilled. The honey & mustard combo in the grilled cheese is legit.

Definitely worth a visit next time you're in or around Footscray.

Holy moly! I’m not vegan but their vegan sanga is fricken crazy. Super friendly staff. Fresh ingredients. What a vibe. Big recommend if you’re around Footscray!
