Savers reviews
50Staff are lovely, super laid back, the variety is good, need to go a bit early to get the good stuff and a changing room
This was the most positive thrifting experience of my life.they have so much stuff in every style for really affordable prices.the change rooms and staff are lovely too.it took me an hour of commuting to get there and it was 100% worth it, i will be back:)
Good place, classic place to find some gems, but over the years I've noticed to price slowly going up as the "hip" youth think it's trendy to buy second hand clothes and/or look poor while their dads who own multi million dollar companies pay for their $800/week rent apartments to live on Sydney Rd and do an arts degree.
Great place to browse. If you can stand the sound of coat hangers on metal rails! Drives me a bit nuts.
This place is great for the frugal value hunter. Huge expansive amount of vintage, second hand clothes; more stuff for women and those who identify as such than men but that's life. Men's clothes are pretty standard. Good range of coats. Lots of pretty good home goods and furniture
They go OFF at Halloween which is dope
Not rapt with Savers. Don't really know what charity or charities they support leaving me to wonder if money is being made off the generosity of people who are donating their clothing and other items. Would rather shop at Vinnies, Salvation Army, or Brotherhood of St. Laurence stores.
Keeping three growing kids clothed is crazy expensive
My wife convinced me to go to Savers during the 50% off sale - she is thrifty.
We got 24 items, mostly for the kids and I paid just over $100.
I reckon most of the stuff we ended up getting had hardly been worn, or not worn at all.
Would highly recommend for kids and baby’s cloths!
Not necessarily good for clothing, but good for enamelware, books, tablecloths ect.sometimes you can find really good clothing items though
Great place for bargains. Clothes, books, toys, fashion accessories, shoes etc.
Some items passedtheir due dates though.
The best savers in Melbourne. I travel over an hour to go there rather than going to the other store 15 minutes away. You can always find something good here for an affordable price
Easy to go straight to what you want.well labelled. Organised. Don't always find something. Definately worth a look. Make time to browse
Massive store. Loads of stuff and very kind staff. Halloween is more than a month aaya but they had heaps of costumes to choose from
Great place to look for costumes or shoes or toys and you can find a really great steal-of-a-price items
Excellents prices and a very extend selection in second hand clothe. It has different sizes in jackets, pants, blouses, skirts, shoes, purses.clothe formal and informal, outfits for this Halloween and more.
Walking past saw a huge crowd go in this store called Savers, Hmm. I go in its all quality inspected clean and its got alot for everyone. Clothes, shoes, baby needs and even same random furniture that one piece you might have been looking for at a good price.
Odd kind of place, a big opportunity shop, sometimes you will find new things (clothing) on the hangers.
At the moment they have a Halloween thing going on {august/September) a broad selection of stuff - electronics, furniture, luggage, ceramics. You name it, they probably have it.
Extremely large selection. Can be busy on the weekends but definitely worth the trip. There's something for everyone. And if you frequent it often you may find a gem. I picked up a 96 chicago bulls starter jacket.
Over the last 4-5 years i think this savers has really gone downhill.i remember a time where the prices were fine but now they just seem ridiculous.
90% of the items are gross and overpriced.it feels like such an effort to look in there
Staff is amazing and I find so many treasures there! If there's anything I think they can improve on, it'd be the trolleys that you pull on. I wish they didn't make that squeaky sound. And oh the hangers squeak quite badly too when people push the clothes around.
