Savers reviews
26Hands down the BEST savers I have been to so far. They have everything. Sooo many clothes and it's all organised really well. A lot of space too.
Huge place. Plenty to look at. Got some good bargains. Fun place to shop. 20 percent off for seniors on Monday. Take your seniors card.
Seriously the best Savers in Melbourne. Great for finding cheap kids clothing, books, and toys in excellent condition
I donated some items recently & went in for 'browse'.
So impressed!
I received 20% off with my donation voucher & purchased some really great quality items for my grandson.
The staff were fantastic - so helpful & friendly.
I'll definitely be back.
We just moved house after 13yrs and to say it was overwhelming is an understatement. We had so much stuff to donate and unlike other charities I called, Savers in Carrum Downs just said bring it all down. They have an area you can pull into and they send out staff to help unload everything. 5 STARS to the staff who were brilliant and extremely helpful. Highly recommended, call Savers before anyone else. Thank you all for getting us over the finish line. Symone.
I have been a regular visitor to Savers since it first opened in Carrum Downs. It's always an adventure, you never know what you might find, and the prices are very reasonable. A lot of items are new, or if not, plenty of life left in them.
Savers is very good except for the fact that sometimes the prices can be rather unreasonable. Having said that, there is always a bargain to be had.
Went to this store to drop off old clothes that didn't fit me anymore and was greeted by friendly staff who took my bags and gave me 20% off voucher, which was fantastic. I went in and looked around. Wow, what a big store. I found what I needed, and another friendly staff member helped me finish my transaction and happily left. Savers is a wonderful second-hand store ️
I really like this store, something new every day, I know that I visited the store several days in a row during my vacation Compared to other Savers stores, the prices are much more affordable
Great range of clothing, some brand new & huge range of hard-to-get bric-a-brac. Staff are always friendly when dropping off donations too.
Massive store. So much to choose from. Mostly well priced for goods, but some brands over priced for second hand clothing
Went this week and soooo much of the clothing is damaged, has holes, stains etc.and the prices they are still trying to sell it for are disgusting. I understand it's a business not a charity, but go to Vinnies if you want clothing you can wear that doesn't make you look like you were mauled by a dog.
For some reason the sizing has changed, size 12 is medium. Size 14-20 is large. So if you're looking for a 14 in the large section you have to look through a lot of different sizes. Doesn't make any sense.
Although most of is second hand, it's in good condition and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. And you won't go over budget on the items you perched.
Some things are very expensive for 2nd hand items. Some of the cloths I can buy brand new for $2 - $5 more
Had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience with one of the managers here today. I was asking an employee for some help finding the item I was after and when she asked for a manager’s assistance (Sam was the managers name) she treated the poor staff member so disrespectfully and was incredibly belittling to this poor girl. Store manager should be looking out for managers like this and be dealing with them accordingly. Completely disgusting behaviour from someone who is supposed to build a good team, not pick on and degrade the people they’re supposed to be leading.
I love this Savers store. It's the best one I've been to. Always clean and tidy and great bargain thrifting!
Something for anyone that needs this facility. Well organised charity store and the money goes to people in need through the Red Nose Foundation. Highly recommended
I live not even 10 mins drive away from savers, my sister asked me to go for her WOW what an AWESOME store the only thing was they didnt have what my sister wanted but other than that. Will definitely be going back
Clean and tidy. Helpful staff. Reasonably priced items. Great furniture and kids selection.
It’s a great place to find unique things for your party events. I would say the quality in some things are not there and the random pricing for helium in a ballon was odd but other than that it’s definitely a place to get your party on.
