Great service and atmosphere, however, pizza was nice but carbonara and cheesecakes lacked flavour.

The service very friendly, the food very tasty and well done. They make you feel like home.

Love the steak here! Polenta chips are amazing Staff are very friendly, chef's proud of his cooking (well deserved).

Window seat during sunset is great view.

The food was fantastic and the service attentive. We had a really good time. I was surprised that it wasn't packed out but probably that is because the wine list is too expensive and doesn't support local wines as is the case in Italy. Had I seen the wine list before, probably wouldn't have gone there.

Went to Sassy Italian with parents for a 'house warming' party for moving into a nearby apartment, very attentive and professional, delicious food, reasonable prices, couldn't have asked for a better evening.

I came with a large group not knowing what to expect. We were treated like family, and served dinner family style. Even though there was a hiccup in the kitchen and the food took longer than expected, it was worth the wait. We received a great sampling of the menu. So fantastic northern Italian fare.

I had a very pleasant experience at Sassy Italian first and the most important thing is the exceptional service, the food is highly recommended, I would love to come back and try the other items on the menu. I’m not a sweet tooth, but I fell in love with the ‘coconut & vanilla pannacotta

Just called in to get takeaway coffees after getting off at North Melbourne train station. 2 small coffees (soy latte and flat white) $10.50. And small was small. Coffee nice. Friends regularly go there for a meal so must join them as they say how nice it is.

Food is delicious and Ele is amazing, he knows how to treat customers.

AMAZINGGGGG! We had the sulumi board, carbonara and meat lovers pizza and it was absolutely delicious. Best Italian food we’ve ever had. The costumer service was incredible. The staff felt like family! Definitely returning here asap:)

Such an amazing experience at Sassy! Delicious food- we had their cold meat platter, croquettes, arancini, pizza, lasagna, baked cauliflower- everything came together perfectly. Not to forget the warm hospitality. This is really a hidden gem! Love the owner/ chef's passion. It really does feel like a family restaurant where they take pride in what they do.
I also love that they have pannetone on sale for Christmas- perfect for gifts or to indulge with the family.

Simply the best steak I’ve ever had.

I enjoyed the black Angus scotch fillet with braised cabbage, bacon, pepper sauce and onion rings. The steak was cooked medium rare with the most stunning sear.

The sauce perfectly complimented the steak, and was also fantastic with the marvellous onion rings. I could not recommend more highly.

Sassy Restaurant certainly caters for all needs. A divine coffee and an exquisite almond croissants made my day!
Couldn't help but order a take away container of the arrancini balls. OMG, oh soooo good!

Lovely new addition to the west melbourne area, with an Italian/Spanish vibe.loved the finger food and pizza. Though the paella was a great looking dish, seafood flavours where overpowered in this dish. Will definitely try it again to get the Spanish holiday vibe going again.

The pizza’s are yummy and also available for take-away. And with the addition of Sassy-buns burgers and more are also well represented.

The coffee ok, though close by there are some other great coffee options.
