We went for a family dinner in SARGUN INDIAN TANDOOR RESTAURANT and really enjoyed our meal. Even though the restaurant was nearly full we were attended well, food was amazing and came out on time. Fantastic service, Excellent staff Fabulous Food.

Really enjoyed our experience here as did my wife. Food was delicious. Good size servings, not too much, and medium was just the right amount of heat. Staff were attentive and friendly. Manager/owner was prominent visiting every table and asking how things were going. Food was served in good time even though they were very busy. Will definitely be a repeat customer. A big thumbs up.

The food is very delicious, especially vindaloo, chicken tikka, chowmein. These are my favourites there.

The Currys there are soo good. As an Indian I love spicy food. We could even decide our own spice level. The order taking is specialized for the customers which makes us have a feeling of homiliness (if that's a word). My favorite favorite part here is chicken Tikka which is on entree. It's provided in a sizzle. So yummy. There presentation of the food is remarkable (that I kinda of wonder how to make them this good). And their decoration of the hotel is very lovely including a map of India, statues of people highlighting their dress code, pictures of pretty and honorable people. If you pass by make sure you have a look there

Food poisoning… Ate there last night. Had chicken in the fried rice dish that tasted a bit “interesting” and woke up in the night to visit the throne room. I have been sick all morning. Cmon guys, it’s easy to tell if chicken is off, maybe you should revisit your hygiene standards.

Long standing Indian restaurant in Bendigo with rustic aesthetics and excellent service from the staff.
Being an Indian, after tasting the food my family felt it's average and there is room for improvement.
Portions are decent and value for money.

A few weeks ago I got takeaway from this Sargon and there was glass in my Briyani rice.
The glass soon after lodged in my tonsil, I spent 5 hours in Bendigo health emergency before being sent to the Royal Melbourne at 2 am where I wanted another 6 hours. This was the scariest, most painful night of my life. I well never go here, nor recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Good Indian food, Peshawar roti is must if you are visiting here. Owner Taj is very nice and humble. Munchurian in the starter's are very yummy. Restaurant gives you indian touch

We ordered medium curries Chicken Jalfrezie and Beef Bombay Very good I like a Kingfisher beer and a local white too

It was well priced and the food was good. It was a nice night to be sitting out on the balcony watching Bendigo go by.

The only thing I didn't like was that the sparkling wine was "reduced alcohol". It was a temporary setback we compensated for later in the evening.

Love Sargun Indian. The owners are amazing and the staff are always so friendly and kind. The food is always incredible.

Omg the best indian we ever had, I love my Paneer Makhani, I tried few indian restaurant in Melbourne and around Victoria but I think this is the best indian restaurant.

None of the food that I've ordered looks like what the photos on their website show, not even the rice. Also, ordered prawn Jalfrazi when I got to my room and opened container, found some kinda chicken in a curry great.

Although customer service was great the food itself tasted old below average and while i have tasted many indian butter chicken dishes this one was the lowest.

Pathetic and very disgusting Experience, not sure how the rating is 4.2.
We visited here (few group of families with kids), the restaurant was almost empty and they might be busy processing online orders and they have mentioned it may take around 25 to 30 mins but actually they took 55 to 65 mins to bring everything to the table. (the first and one item arrived at table after 55 mins despite multiple reminders).
Starters were OK and rest of the food is not that great but prices are like luxury! Few of the staff at the counter are curteous and polite.

However, none of them have felt a bit re the inconvenience caused to us and pain in managing the kids due to the delay, they didnt even say apology which made us to feel disdusting at the end.

So I dont recommend such places to anyone, please select this as last option.

Never going to visit this restaurant again. Clear discrimination of customers on basis of race. I am customer with Indian origin and have visited the restaurant with a 2 year old baby. I was offered a table which is under AC and it was very cold. I have checked the tables which were outside and all the tables were empty. I have checked with the staff if I change to the alternative table which was located outside and I was told that those tables are not available. Immediately a customer from Australia n background came and they were offered a table next to me. They had a similar issue, they felt cold and they saw that the tables outside were empty. The customers with Australian background asked for the same table which I have asked to shift earlier and they were allowed to switch the table. This is a clear customer discrimination based on the race and background. I am very upset with what happened and never going to visit again.

The food was ok and service was great the ambience of the place is vibrant.very friendly and attentive staff the only down side was that the portion size was small for what was paid.

Lots of choices to pick from on the menu and awesome tasting food, haven't had a bad meal yet.
Very underrated In my opinion
