43 Pathetic customer service. The lady doesn’t even know how to behave to customers.i bought a soft drink from there and drank it from the shop itself. I chucked the can in their bin and the so called lady said this is not public bin and i took the waste back from thr bin. If im supposed to take and throw outside even though thats not the way to talk to customers… dear owner please educate ur staff…no more visit again.
Thanks
Charging $0.50 extra if you want to pay by card for a bill below $10. I have not seen any other Indian store doing it…
Today the girl who served she is really rude she don’t have knowledge about the how to behave with customers.we really upsad.
Large variety of Indian, Sri Lankan groceries available, especially in the namkeen section.
They also sell variety of Indian frozen vegfies and heat and eat stuff.
With it's extensive selection of products, knowledgeable staff, and organised layout, this store is a top notch destination for anyone in Clayton area.
The shop should lift their customer service and provide receipts to avoid confusion on pricing or a bit better communication would help as well.
Probably the most versatile Indian store you'll find overseas. From utensils to groceries to packed snacks, you'll get a lot of options there.
Worst Customer Service ever!
While I was at the Register busy taking out products from my basket, One glass bottle of sauce tipped on the floor and got smashed of which the lady on register charged me for the broken bottle too. The table was full of products and only thing she was doing is scanning products, she didn’t even offer to fill scanned groceries in bag. On top she was saying me to push the products towards her so she can scan. I felt so embarrassed while this incident happen and she wasn’t apologetic, she gave me an excuse saying many people drop their products from there.
Luckily no one was hurt this time. I was shocked that how can it fall from table but I realised that they have built a table from empty milk crates and covered with black cloth in front of register which is such a big hazard as it is unstable and every one thinks its a table.
Also most of the products on the shelf do not have price ticket on it and even the one which have don’t match with the price on Register and to which they bluntly say it’s wrong price on shelf which is against consumer law.
I have been coming to this store for more than 5 years but after this instance I won’t be visiting again.
Huge variety of Indian spices available although not every brand would be available here. They cover all kind of items at a good price
Excellent variety of all goods with comparative price but the problem is just right when you step in Store the smell is not pleasant at all, I’ve been 2 there times few days apart. Not good first impression.
I understand here some spices smell different but smell is not from spices at all, else friendly people.
Actually they don’t deserve any star but that option is not available. I have confirmed price and availability of product over the phone, staff member told that available, I drive to shop in rainy weather. Product was in the shop When I went to counter and staff member told me it’s sold.
Great place to shop for Indian and Pakistani stuff. You'll find almost everything that you need. Prices are reasonable and sometimes you get stuff in really good offers. Highly recommended.
This is one of my favourite places for Indian Groceries
- Very friendly staff (special mention about Karthik for always being very helpful)
- reasonable rates as compared to the other similar Indian Groceries shops
- wide variety of all the items (I don't remember going there with a list of items and coming back not able to find even a single item there)
This shop is conveniently surrounded by yumm restaurants and cafes.
We bought thick poha 1kg packet and when we opened it, it has threads, hair, some sago seeds, dog hair in it.the brand was saravan. I tried cleaning some and lastly threw the poha as I had already wet it for cooking so couldn't return it. Such bad quality.
They are selling expired snacks which are overdue 3 or more months the expiry date. I have experienced this several times and I know I am not the only one. Will not buy from here again.
Why there is partiality between local public and citizens? Is there any reason for that? Are they give you any benefits? Because wherever i visit i think local public give them profits. There is no sense for different prices.
Have found stuff I havent come across in other Indian grocery stores.good competitive prices but make sure you watch out for best before dates.
Always had a good experience with them. We were the regular customer to them for more than a year until we moved to the west of the city. Prices are feasible and large variety of Asian food products along with the deals if you buy in bulk. We also reimbursed our 400 points which gave us $20 of discount on $100 of purchase. Kesar mangoes which we bought on our last purchase are delicious. We loved it!
Highly recommend it!
Don't be get shocked because im not first one who complaining about selling expired items in this shop, you may find many complaints like mine in comment box. I will never go there.
They are showing one price in the display and system is charging another price which is more than displayed prices. It misleads the customers. The customer service representative in the billing counter has apologized for the mistake and has agreed to reimburse the difference next time when we do the shopping. I don't think it's a right way to do business and very disappointed. We have to be careful.
