Saravanaa Bhavan Werribee reviews
64We used to come every time to eat dosa here very good taste. But this weekend my husband pick a paneer butter dosa. It was so tasty. I love this place and customer service very good.
We had very high hopes at this branch but left disappointed. I had ordered weekend thali. Mor Kolumbu was very sour no veggies. Rasam was sweet. Didn't feel like authentic southindian food.
Very loud music in background.
Just nice restaurant and relaxed atmosphere.
I went with my kids and husband we had great time
Fantastic South Indian food. Pretty close to authentic & best in Melbourne. Highly recommended.
I been there few days back with my couple of friends and have had bad experience with Dosa. Stuffing inside dosa was literally bad. We ordered masala dosa’s and other things. Rest of the food was good!
I hope you guys should do something about that!
No hate just sharing experience
If you are off to a good authentic South Indian cuisine. I think our search in west is over. I think they got the best dosa variety.much recommended!
We went there thrice, first time was good, second time i went at afternoon - they served cold food we thought that we are at odd time thats why its not fresh, third time we went on dinner time and it was worst then ever, even i mentioned them prior to early to give me fresh and hot food still they served cold food, their staff like they do volunteering so they don't care about food and service. Don't waste your time, money and health.
Loved their food.
But madras coffee didn't taste the same as the city resturant.
Once you fix your filter coffee machine pls text will come for coffee.
Other than everything was good
+1 for taste, as with almost all SB's, taste is pretty much guaranteed.
+1 for location, middle of Watton Street.
+1 for atmosphere.
-1 for odd closure times
-1 for sometimes being ignorant of food allergies.
This is my all time favourite place whenever I feel like eating typical South Indian food.
Everyone must try their dahi puri very delicious.
The staff is very friendly.
Pathetic experience, we waited for 35mins just for a dosa.
EVERY-time I ask the staff they repeat “2mins”, no substantial answer.
Best South Indian food I've had in a very long time.
My family is extremely hard to satisfy and tonight not only were they satisfied they left happy and content sealing the evening with the BEST INDIAN COFFEE!
(table 8)
Delicious vegetarian fair. A bit disappointed that we didn't get the fluffy fried bread ball thing that everybody else was having. It is called Puri and it looks incredible. We were told there was none left but then saw another table get it. My dish came with a bunch of stuff. Most was tasty. The yoghurt water was strange. So was the tomato water. I'm sure that's not what they're called. Next time I'll insist on the Puri bread.
Update: It seems like the quantity has reduced. We got only 2 medu wada instead of 3 in the plate that too in a smaller size and the masala dosa looked smaller than last time too. But the taste is consistently good.
Amazing food, Finger licking taste to each and every dish we ordered. The staff was great at service although being so busy. Our go to place for authentic south Indian food every single time.
I ordered an onion uthappam today as a pick up honestly worst than a kid made that food we pay for it at least u think if u can eat first before you give it to Customers we pay u for the don't u feel u have to do better. I never put reviews but this made me mad.so yucky and burnt.
Loved the food. Really yummy. Super quick service. Manager was very nice. Overall Awesome experience
Excellent service. If you wanna taste best Indian vegetarian food. You definitely have to try this restaurant
This place is one of the best in South Indian food. The best sambhar ever I have tried.
Good service, very polite people (specially Randi the new manager)
Best place to experience authentic south Indian cuisine. Had a pleasant dining experience, the last time when I visited. The staffs are polite and well mannered. Kids friendly environment. Quick serving time, bit crowded during weekend. Overall, A Good place to relish south Indian dishes and to spend quality time with friends, family.
Grub Tip: Don't forget to order their tongue tingling special Thali and madras filter coffee during your next visit. Thank me later!
