Sarah Halal Butcher

I'm a new Customer to Sarah's Halal Butcher and hands down this has got to be one of the best butchers I've been to. From the first time I walked in the serving team were all smiles Especially the very nice young lady behind the counter The porter house steaks I've brought so far have been outstanding and I love that you can tell the butcher how thick you would like them cut. I do enjoy smoking meats so can't wait to buy from these guys in the near future.

I don't know are they selling goat curry meat or bone
Paid almost $40 instead of meat too much bone.one question for this shop owner are you selling goat meat or goat bone in the name of goat curry.
At least there should be meat isn't it? In 100%of total purchase 90%bone and rest is meat.common have some fair on it.

I bought 2 kg goat curry yesterday and there was more than 1 kg bone in it.

Frankly speaking, I've bought meat from every other Halal shop in Clayton and also tried many butchers from Dandenong but hands down Sarah Butcher has the best and most fresh meat from all of them.

Not into exaggeration but try it once and you'll notice the freshness of the meat. Plus their curry beef pieces have an adequate proportion of bone and meat unlike many others.

Highly recommended.

The goat absolutely slaps. Will make this my regular meat mart

- excellent staff - they also guide you with the selection of the type of meat that would suits your taste.
- Must try the pre-marinated spicy chicken winglets… wow.what a marination…
- Goat curry meat is most of the times fresh and tender.
- other items that I tried and liked are mined lamb kebabs (with a perfect and mild marination), lamp paya (for soup)

I was so disappointed of buying chicken from Coles, that's when a friend suggested SHB. Got some chicken drumsticks, sausages, breast chunks and minced meat from them last week. The quality of meat has turned out to be way better than that of Coles.

Clean halal butcher, well stocked, good service, reasonable prices. Always our go to for getting fresh halal meat. Would be 5 stars if they can add a delivery service.

Best and reliable place to buy halal meat. One can find poultry, lamb, beef in here. Additionally, the also sell ready to bbq/grill meats. However, one can also find different cuts of meats and sausages. Very much recommend.

There is a hint of arrogance that I noticed with Sarah Butcher!
The urge for goat meat consumption, coupled with them being the closest to my residence, meant that I visit them frequently. Unfortunately on numerous occasions, I noticed lack of customer service and unavailibility of goat leg - whether it is genuine shortage or their interest to sell curry pieces first, (which consisted of a large amount of bones)
Always noticed long waiting times and that may be giving a sence of complacency to providing to good customer service.
Sorry I had to take my purchaces to butchers in Oakleigh/Tasman butchers and I know of a lot of butchers stocking goat meat.

Visited Sarah Halal butchers on a friend's recommendation. Staff are polite and friendly, meat is reasonably priced and the staff give you suggestions about the type of meat needed for the dishes you want to make.
Shop is clean and meat is fresh.
There's plenty of 2hr parking right in front of the shop.

Overall, a pleasant experience.

My first and last time here. Yesterday they told me price of 1kg goat cutlets would be $26.50 and today when I picked it up they charged me $31.70. Definitely not a place I would go back to again.
