The kids love the food here, can get it not spicy for them and spicy for me and all great. Reasonably priced night out for a family of four

This restaurant is one of my all time favourites. Wonderful friendly owners, and the best quail and cheapest in Melbourne. $7.80 per quail! This food is so fresh and good that you’re sure to be back time and time again. Give it a try, as you’ll be sure to keep coming back.

Was told takeaway food would be ready in twenty minutes waited an hour whilst people in restaurant ordered 20 mins after us arriving to pick up food ordered and got their food first and waiter ignored us when asked where our food was. Went in after event at a quiet time to discuss with manager and manager wouldn’t come out and even hear what I had to say. Regular customer won’t be going back

So, Sapa Rivers is the hidden gem in Caulfield. It's the local we've been supporting for years because it's clean, friendly, homely and comfortable. But it's much more. The food is expertly prepared with attention to detail; it's presented well and tasty. It accurately emulates the experience of being in Vietnam, with a few side trips to other south-east Asian countries. The service is friendly and professional. All of this, for the best prices in all of Melbourne. Non locals, stay away. It's ours; all ours!

Had my first ever Pho here and it was amazing, we also had honey chicken and spring rolls, each dish was very good. My office recommended this place and now I'm recommending it to anyone who reads this. My son also had a Pho and it was under $60. The staff are very polite with warm smiles and the atmosphere was full yet not loud. I will definitely be back again.

We got takeaway from here and waited here while it was cooked. The food was really good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food has really good flavours and freshness.

I've been coming here for the past year and tried many things on the menu and each time the food is delicious. The staff are so accommodating and lovely and always put a smile on my face. Highly recommend this place to dine in to enjoy a beautiful atmosphere.

I was absolutely surprised by how good the food from this restaurant was, as it was a place I had driven by a lot without ever noticing. The house favourite spicy salt and pepper fish was just delicious as was the spring rolls, satay chicken skewers, the special fried rice. This establishment is truly a gem and after my first meal from here, i will certainly be frequenting it. Really Good Vietnamese.
Well I have now had my second meal from here and it was just as good as the first one last week.the food here is just the best Vietnamese that I have had in many a long year.
I day it again, this is well worth the visit to dine in or takeaway.

Went a Couple of years ago in the food was reasonably good. When did tonight and we were disappointed. Things have deteriorated. The noodle dish consisted of half cooked noodles. The sizzling Mongolian played The sizzling Mongolian Fish consisted of fish cooked in honey and little else. It was quite unpleasant. I wint upstairs to the toilets to wash my hands. The area's filthy and the carpets look like the Haven't been vacuumed for ages. The toilet area had an intense urine smell and it needed to be cleaned. It was disgusting.

This place is great. Fresh and tasty Vietnamese food and a lovely little restaurant. Service is friendly. It's great value for money.

I love this place! From the staff through to the awesome food you won't be disappointed! Reasonably priced, flavours to compare to any and a inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Edit. After years of patronage I'm halfway on an hour drive to get takeaway and ring to order at 9.05pm so as its ready when I arrive only to be told the hours had changed from 10pm close to a 9pm close and that the kitchen is closed. Very disappointed. Especially since their advertised hours are 9.45pm close. Terrible customer service and the man on the phone was rude

Good service, cosy environment and nice atmosphere. The most important thing, their food is great! You will find special dishes that won’t finds at normal Vietnamese restaurants. Would recommend.

Never go. Restuarant has changed staff. Chef yelling at customers food always wrong and borderline so disgusting I wouldn't feed this food to my own rats.

Food is good for the price, service is nothing to complain about, We are regulars at the restaurant because my husband likes it. But the toilets are disgusting, dirty, no light, the stairs are dirty the carpet has not been vacuumed ever. Surly something can be done about it to make the experience so much better.

I ordered vegetarian fried rice. Service was great but the rice is bland, oily and I just found a piece of meat in it.

Nice local place for a meal; in fact, we go there regularly (or did) for family dinners (up to 24 people) – and, yes, I wrote that for the benefit of the owner of Sapa River! However, tonight we ordered take away.

After we discovered that we had received the wrong item, we phoned Sapa River who refused to deliver the correct dish. When my brother drove to Sapa River, they wanted him to pay for it, or return the partially consumed and incorrect meal.

Needless to say, the ‘nice’ food is not worth overlooking the terrible customer service and disregard for the law.

Excellent food for a good price. Nice interior, comfortable environment, wide selection of meals. I really enjoyed it!

Lived in the area for years and have never been there till tonight. The Pho was ready in 10mins flat, reasonably priced, tasted great. Definitely going back soon. Can’t believe I haven’t been here before.

Terrible costumer's service. They did a mistake with the order and refused to put the blame on them. One of the guys starts to fight with me in the middle of the restaurant? ! What happened to the customer always right? You guus should say thank you I am giving you 2 star instead of 1
