Don't waste any time looking at this school. Bullying is rampant and teachers refuse to resolve issues. They treat disabled students like idiots or ignore them entirely. Their psychologists are a joke and refuse to actually give guidance or help in any meaningful way.

This school prides itself on being a close community and being "progressive" while communication to students, parents, and even their own staff is abysmal. Genuinely do not waste your time here, no one here will offer proper support to you.

Santa Maria College. The self proclaimed " Best school in Melbourne with progressive learning " couldn't be far from the truth. If you cant handle this review, keep scrolling. This is my experience. The teachers care more about your hair being tied up than your education, and give you detentions for wearing rings. They strip you from your personality and religion, forcing you to rid of anything other than uniform. As teenagers, it can be hard to obey these rules, and we should not be punished by it. The students are rude, and friendship groups revolve around rich pick-me girls, with no respect. Getting bullied was common for some students, including myself. The staff claim the do things against it, but the effort is low, and I think i speak for everyone when I say it happens too often, they don't seem to care anymore. You get in trouble for the silliest things, and I don't understand why. The uniform is blocky, ugly and hard to wear. It's not wonder the student refuse to wear it. The school claims to be " Caring " and " kind ' when thats all a lie. A student with a different religion was forced to go to church, which is just wrong. And despite them having posters everywhere about respecting pronouns, most of the teachers don't use them for trans or non- binary people. The school is a gimic, and despite all this, they intend to teach the students that this is the best school ever, and almost trick them in a way.

Pretty good school band is good, friends r good <3, teaching is ok, too many assignments tho.kinda stressful

I would say Santa is a relatively good school. They Really seem to care about our uniform but only the teachers that are 'higher up'. Otherwise most of the teachers are really nice to talk to! The actual teaching is Meh, could be better. Honestly too many assignments, but some teachers will give you extensions. There is SOO much drama within the students enough that my friend group who is not involved with the drama has had to help and 'adopt' the people who basically got bullied for no reason. But The Friends i have made here have been some of the best people i have ever met <3 good try Santa, try again though
i would give it a 1.5 but that's not allowed soooo. The nice people are the only things that make it good but there aren't actually that many.

The teachers are biased, disrespectful to students and don't do their job correctly. The principal, staff and teachers DO NOT care about the students education, they care more about wearing the students uniforms correctly and their reputation then actually educating the children and if the students don't wear EVEN THE RIGHT SOCKS, they would give them a dimeric point. I'm genuinely disappointed considering the fact that we have to pay 6-10 thousand dollars of fees to stay in this school, absolutely disgusting and disappointing. I graduated from this school a year ago after being in this school for 6 years, let me tell you during the 6 years I've been here, I've developed non-stop depression, yes, they do talk about bullying and how it's wrong, but do they do anything about it? No, they do NOT care. I don't recommend attending this school. They make the work and homework way too challenging even for year sevens, assessments and assignments pile up everyday, even when I'd stay organized the teachers keep piling them up and expecting us to do all the subjects assessments in under a week and if we don't, we would get a lecture. The school is way too strict, prestige and overwhelming. If you know what's best for you, you wouldn't attend this school, I'm sorry.

Taking the train to school to walking 10 minutes to get to the acyual school and then walking a gazillion steps to only making my feet hurt. They also make you carry a lot of books and care about reputation than the actual studies. Literally they say they care about mental health but they just scream till you cry.the bathrooms also has toilets that dont flush. This school needs to do better, all they care about is the students uniform and whether they are wearing their blazer or not. They do not care about the girls education at all but rather if their hair is up or down. They strip you from your family and heritage as they take away your jewellery and everything personal to you as if it is going to make you learn better.im appalled, they make it out like our college community is a great big loving family, and ik it must be terriblky hard to be a tecaher but there are fights and bullying, vapeing euhfiue4grewgh34gt4ufjd23utrgf going on evrryday, im speaking honslty and the truth may be hard to hear
