New owners since my last visit but we enjoyed 2 different calamari dishes. Both very apetising and good value. Service was slow but pleasant

Came for dinner as a group of 7, the food was delicious and the service was very fast. Overall would come back again as we also enjoyed the atmosphere and wide menu variety.

My family and I had the best meal, so fresh and tasty food. The service was exceptional, very friendly and warm.

We came to meet some friends and we all enjoyed our meals had coffee and a long chat no pressure in a nice welcoming atmosphere. The food was really great and fresh, great staff.

Thankyou to Sandstone cafe who provided a lovely lunch and beverages for my parents 60 th wedding anniversary. Excellent service and yummy food with lots of choices.

We enjoyed our family dine-in a few times here. Staffs were very friendly and experienced good customer service. My busy bee toddler was always given some kinda play things. So she is engaged too, while we were having food. When I dined in with my lil bub, the waitress given me a good spot in the cafe, where I had privacy to feed him as well. Highly recommended for everyone for a peaceful and serene area with delicious foods and beverages

Just had a really tasty, homemade beef pie here for lunch. Nice surroundings, friendly staff and food is amazing. Highly recommend!

They turned us back 1.20pm for lunch, saying kitchen is closed. They said lunch finishes at 2pm. Didn't feel happy about this.

Calm, peaceful, relaxed, clean, fresh and beautiful! Just afew words to describe this cafe. Kind staff and delicious food and drinks. I really enjoy going here sometimes just for a nice drink, a cake or meal when I catch up with my mother. Great attention to detail and very reasonable prices for the quality.

Sandstone hosted our daughter's naming day high tea and Cindy and her team were fantastic. Cindy was professional and helpful during our initial meet up and made everything super clear for me to arrange. We only had a short period of time to set up in between closing and the function start time but the team did a great job accommodating our requests and setting up on time. The food was absolutely outstanding. We were able to take leftovers home and the cakes stayed fresh for days. We had so many positive comments about the food. We'll definitely be back for more high teas!

Lovely clean fresh restaurant, staff are friendly, menu is tasty and fairly big serves. Does get busy so best to book if dining in.

Fantastic staff, fantastic food and fantastic service. Been coming for years and while quality of food has suffered everywhere else, Sandstone remains good quality.
Very sad to see people sending poor reviews over little things.
The damage to business's across Victoria is terrible they don't need people complaining over nothing.

This café offers a fabulous dining experience. The venue is spacious and has a light, airy feel to it which gives the impression that you could be eating outside.
The staff are friendly and quick to get you engaged in their menu, a menu that has something for everyone. Portion sizes should satiate most hunger pangs and won't dent your wallet either. The quality of the food and drink I had was great and kept my taste buds entertained from start to finish.
Do yourself a favour and drop in at Sandstone for a fab dining experience.

We took our fam to Sandstone recently as I wanted them to taste their delicious Parmi's. Unfortunately we chose the wrong night (we could see there were issues) however the service and food was no where near as good as it had been previously. Parmi's overdone, fish served on mashed potato. Only one enjoyed their meal. Dessert menus need attention as there were three different prices for the Bailey's Mousse. $11, $12 + $13 and the Mousse was not quite set even though we were charged $13. Sorry to sound harsh and knowing there were issues, but we won't be back in a hurry.

The BEST Salmon Eggs Benedict I have tried! Service and ambiance were lovely as well. Must come back

Overall the place is nice and the service is friendly, however the food is very expensive and overally spiced (the lasagna was overpowered with cinnamon), the wait time was also fairly long (30-35 minutes).
