Sandown Heritage Motor Inn

Checked in and the bloke on reception couldn't have been more helpful. I love it when you are greeted with a smile. Rooms are very clean and tidy. This motel represents excellent bang for the buck if you are going to Sandown Raceway. The only negative is the traffic noise from SpringVale Rd. Ask for a room up the back if you are a light sleeper.

Such awesome facilities & staff. The rooms are huge, bed's super comfy, shower is hot. Had an issue that got fixed up really quickly by Lillian & her amazing staff. Will definately be staying again next time we're in the area.

I called these at between 8/9pm, Lilian the receptionist was very nice, she has good customer service and walk me through the process. Rooms good, beds good, showers good, overall experience very good. I would book with them again if needed.

Warm reception the lady who runs it was so great in time of need she went above and beyond not to mention the mini bar and snacks really cosy atmosphere felt safe and secure

Good size room, clean, bed comfortable, shower good, convenient location, hosts very friendly and accommodating. Reasonable rates. Initially booked for 3 nights stayed about 14. Would stay again.

Spacious, neat, tidy and clean rooms with an ever attentive hosts. Lily made us very welcome and was always on hand to assist us and attend to our concerns. Will definitely recommend to friends and family

January 24th 2021. Due to an unfortunate series of events & at a late stage of arrival this Motel was very understanding on late cancellation & although I offered to pay they accepted my problem gracefully & hopefully were able to relet the booked room.
Although I did not stay there on this date I was most impressed with the office staff’s consideration.
When I am able to resume this trip I will certainly be contacting Sandown Heritage Motel.

Recently stayed at the Sandown Heritage Motor Inn. I got to say I was greeted with friendly staff and had a pleasant stay. The place was clean and quiet. I would recommend it to everyone. Great job guys! Keep it up!

Bed was comfy, room was nice & ensuite was great. Would come back again for sure. Great location.

When i came here in 2008 was well priced and you get your moneys worth, microwave tv fridge just what u need so no complaints here

The room was normal and ok to take a short break. Basic stuff is provided.
The price is a bit expensive with this room. No tissues and the air condition was put next to the bed which made us feel uncomfortable.
The room was clean and staff is friendly.

Absolute disgrace of an establishment. I called up prior to arrival and was offered a twin share room for 115. Upon arriving and PAYING, the woman at the counter decided she wanted to charge me an extra 15 dollars for the use of the second bed in the room (she had assumed I was staying with a significant other). She never asked me how many beds Id be using before offering me the price.
I refused to pay extra and she all too happy to see me leave for the sake of $15.absolutely disgusting behavior. Only giving it ONE star because I had to.

Quite a good place to stay reasonably priced had mini bar in each room nice clean bathroom well set out room overall no issues with the motel and not to expensive will be back would recommend to other travellers. Leigh xxx

It was an adequate establishment for an overnight stay, room smelled a little funny but 5 mins sorting out fixed that, could use a little renovation & TLC but good for the price you pay. Seemed to be a clean room but didn't have a black light too check for "stains"

Room was big but was quite old. Reception was friendly and helpful. Parking was ample and directly outside apartment. There was however a weird bathtub beside the beds itself, which makes it kinda weird. Felt that for the price, you could get a better room somewhere.

Good price for a basic motel. Off street parking, late check-in and happy to meet special requests.

It's fine, you get what you pay for. The room and bathroom was clean, and if you're staying on a budget, that's what matters. The wifi is very good and free, you'll need to call reception to get the code.
