The Sandbar is in a great location, it's very quiet, has excellent facilities and is extremely clean. Fiona and Shawna were fantastic hosts. Love the extra touches, homemade cookies and chocolates on arrival! Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic accommodation and service. Clean and welcoming room with a cute little sign saying the weather conditions for the day as well as homemade cookies. On checkin we were given great advice on local places to eat. We would stay there again if we’re in the area due to the great experience we had and for such a reasonable price.

Very lovely hotel with absolutely friendly host. Only WiFi wasn't quite stable in the evening, when everyone connected. Evening else was beyond expectation

Loved this place. It's a basic 70's or 80's motel room, but what those ladies have done with it is amazing. From the very warm welcome to the checkout chocolate, you are made to feel special. I loved the microfibre hair towel and home baked cookies tool! There were so many added touches, and we found it quiet at night even though it was on the main road. Do yourself a favour and call them direct for a great deal. You won't be disappointed.

Located directly across the road from the waterfront, and a short walk to the town centre, the Motel is perfectly situated.
The hosts Fiona and Shawna have created a warm and welcoming accommodation, and offer a wealth of knowledge of the area's cafes, restaurants, shopping and local activities.
Being a boutique Motel with only 10 rooms provides a lovely and quiet atmosphere for a good night sleep.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning again.
The rooms are well furnished with quality bedding and amenities for a comfortable stay, the additional complimentary welcome cookies freshly baked by Shawna are a refreshing personal touch to enjoy with a cuppa after a long drive.

Rooms were clean, the location was just out from the main street which made it quiet, the staff were friendly, I would go again

We enjoyed our stay! Great location, comfortable rooms, lovely hosts. All the small touches around the room make it feel so homely and pleasant, unlike big hotels where they really couldn't care less. The cookies and cheesecake were delicious also! Thank you!

Greeted with chocolates on the bed on arrival like a 5 Star hotel. The room is cosy, super neat and extraordinarily clean.
Motel is located in a superb location - beach across the street and everything else is just a short stroll away.
Fiona was always there to help out including making reservation for our dinner.

Fantastic customer service & the homemade banana cake was sooo yum. The rooms were clean & spacious, with lots of lovely thought out items, like hair towel & lifting table. Very comfortable & enjoyable stay. Thanks ladies.

What a hidden gem in Lakes Entrance! We have been here for 3 nights and the room is fresh, well renovated and cared for with love. Home made cookies are a treat.

Fiona greeted us with a welcoming smile and was very informative on great eateries and knowledge of the attractions that were of interest to us.

The room was spotlessly clean including the bathroom. There were very homely touches in the bathroom too lovely toiletries, face washer presented decoratively in a basket, good quality towels, even a hair towel and I have to say, good quality toilet paper.

The bed was very comfortable with good quality linen and pillows, and again very well presented with decorative throw and cushions.

The Compendium in our room was very extensive, one of the best of I have seen.

To add more personal touches, each day there were homemade treats to enjoy with a cuppa.

Overall, to stay at the Sandbar Boutique Motel, you will find it very quiet, it's well located within walking distance to great eateries, shops and local attractions.

It is very obvious that Fiona and Shawna love what they do, from their care and attention to detail in the presentation of your room, to the homemade treats, to the pool and the surrounding gardens they are indeed awesome hosts.

I have no hesitation in recommending the Sandbar Boutique Motel, and I will certainly be a return customer in the future.

It’s clear this little family business is built on kindness and that is sprinkled in all the rooms! Everything was absolutely perfect and the place had all the amenities you could need. Lots of extra really thoughtful touches and the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. It really was a breath of fresh air. We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay, comfy beds, nice clean room with plenty of space, great shower. Lovely hosts. Nice neat gardens. Would definitely stay again.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, and very hospitable. The room was spacious, very well equipped and comfortable. It was very clean and extras such as a coffee machine were unexpected. The outdoor pool area was impressive with plenty of seating, and the gardens were attractive and well kept (unlike many motels). The location is perfect, walking distance to shops and restaurants but just far enough that noise was no issue at all. The beach and esplanade are just across the road. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

We rang to advise we would be late. Fiona advised that the key would be left in the room.
On our arrival there were even fresh baked biscuits for us.
The room was spotless, and my wife (an OC) was totally in awe.
The room was exceptionally clean, with a coffee machine, very comfortable bed
And the usual amenities.
Location at the Lakes Entrance was perfect, with the harbour across the road.
We had a terrific night's sleep, and next morning, after visiting the locazlk markets we were on our way.
Did I mention the price?
Just terrific value.
We are telling all our friends that is this the go to motel at the Entrance.
