Owner servered this time for us, very rude customer experience, very small portion, i ordered chicken curry lunch pack, just put small portion of two chicken peices. Asked for extra fish for money, he refused to sell that as well. No idea Why the shop is open. Dissapointed. Never recommand for my friends

Easily the best Ceylonese restaurant in and around Dandenong. I frequent Sandalanka for their Rice and Curry packs. Their Pepper Pork is the best. It is so good that i rarely opt for anything else. Apart from lunch they also do breakfast (roast paans, kiri bath, omelette buns, short eats etc.) When they run out of rice and curry, i normally get their lamprais (picture attached) which is equally good. Service food and everything about Sandalanka is great and consistent. I Highly recommend this place.

Always all you can eat good value for money.
I have visited few times this restaurant now and love the authentic Sri Lankan taste on food. Reasonable prices and good quantity and value for money.

Really lovely staff and great Sri Lankan food, one of the better spots in Hampton Park and decent pricing. Definitely recommend! Before COVID, the buffet was amazing and great value. Hoping to go back and enjoy soon after lockdown! Really enjoy their Lamprise as well.

Food is tasty. Can recommend the pork curry from this restaurant. Customer service is good but there are few times that they forgotto place my order.

Situation in an accessible place in suburban Melbourne, this place offers a wide variety of sri lankan cousine options. Their range includes classical sri lankan food items such as drink fish and jackfruit curry. The classical lunch pack is value for money and bears the authentic taste of sri lankan dishes. Short eat items are also available.

Food is average but for the price its worth. Really good quantity for the price and an average 2 people can share. Place need more appealing but overall a good look.

One star given due to rude customer service. Used to drop in for buffet quite regularly. One day the lady owner complained about me self serving my takeaway container with about 60% meat curry and two eggs saying "their policy" is meat and rice should be 50/50 and only one egg on the serving. Have that attitude if you're the only lankan restaurant in the area.

The outlet has many varieties, unfortunately the day I went they were having some trouble in the kitchen and the meals were getting delayed. The only thing was ready to go was the Lamprise. I wouldn't say it's the best and authentic but it was edible, like another rice and curry packet. I bought the chicken and the pork. They can go slow on the oil and spice. Planning to visit again for their banana leaf rice packet. Will rate it afterwards.

I had some curries on take away. The chicken curry tasted as if it was cooked using salt water, and the pork curry only tasted pepper. Get someone who knows how to cook mate.

First they should learn how to speak with customers. Was trying to get the menu over the phone and the person who answred didnt offer to help and was asking to check the facebook page. It seems the restaurant is only for facebook users which is really funny. Not going to dine out from there any more. We got way better srilankan restaurant to go in melbourne. I would like to marry the chef she is that good! Love this place majorly! Introduced by a work colleague i find im totally addicted to there amazing spicy and tasty food and im Aussie as they get! I need it at least once or twice a week or i get withdrawell symptoms no kidding lol! Its like a drug! Cant speak of them highly enough! Great prices too! Thanks Sandlanka!

I can't recommend this place enough. I discovered this place a few months ago and I've taken at least 10 different people here who have all loved it. Great buffet for a great price. Absolutely delicious food. They usually have 8 different dishes to choose from, which includes both meat and vegetarian options. Very friendly staff. Definitely check this place out!
