Samui Sunset Traditional Thai Massage reviews
10Lovely Massage, clean rooms, friendly & professional staff. Definitely one of the best in Melbourne. Now my regular place!
I used to come here occasionally before Covid and it was fine. But now after lockdown, I called to ask about massage, and was told they aren't accepting bookings. When I asked why, they said they are too busy - this doesn't make sense to me. I too am busy and will go somewhere that does bookings so I can be sure to not have my time wasted if I am turned away as a walk-in.
It is not actually traditional Thai massage! No Thai massage therapists either. All from other asian countries. Did not do deep tissue massage. Put pressure including guilt trip you that they will lose money on you if no happy ending! Could be worse though!
Fantastic massage tonight for both my partner & I. Very thorough, they never missed a spot and found all the places that needed work! Will be back soon, thanks
This place won't disappoint. Excellent massage, walked away feeling great and relaxed. Great value for money, clean, comfy rooms, quiet and friendly.
Will Definatly be back.
Can recomend Beena, well I think that was her name.
Walked in for a massage and totally disappointed. Never come back here again. They think they are doing u a favor. Very poor
I normally go to the place next door but it shut so I tried this place. I didn't sign up to the be a member as I wasn't sure the massage would be good. I paid $75 for 60 minutes for a hard deep massage with oil. They have a mattress on the floor which is not my preferred way and the towels were not the highest quality but every thing was clean. Music was so so. Therapist used my name throughout the massage but didn't talk much which I like. She found my tight muscles left shoulder in seconds. Did a great job working on it. More gentle after the initial pain of a deep Thai massage. The therapist was totally profession and only massage was offered. I see that other reviews note otherwise but that was not my experience. I think I now have been to most places in Bay Street and pure Thai in Rouse street. This place is good if you don't like to make an appointment. I did prefer the Mandala next door but looks like they didn't pay the rent. From $65 for 60 minutes it's the cheapest around.
It's the best of the three places on offer as it's the only one with showering facilities. The rooms are very clean and the decor is nice. The girls are generally a very good standard although one, who is pretty and popular, I feel, is not the best masseuse available. The girls are happy to provide a massage suited to your needs. On the whole, I recommend Samui Sunset to anyone interested in traditional thai massage.
It was so bad it was funny. Worst set up, they don't speak English. Not a good experience, save your $ don't do it.
Massage was ok, hence 1 star. Service and ambiance 0.
I've been here a few times as its close to my work. The ladies are happy to chat and very friendly. I found the ones I been with very attentive and can adjust pressure to suit.
Port Melbourne branch is nice in that it has showers, and I always like to start a full body massage after a soothing hot shower.
