Samsam Korean Chicken and Beer reviews
39The chicken shnitzel i order today is really good, the customer service is very kind. The order come out really fast and i enjoy it very much!
Had a dinner with my friends there last night, had to wait for 10mins because all the tables were taken but it was worth the wait
The delicious crunchy fried chicken is a must must! (Original, hot spicy &soy garlic my fav)
And the bulgogis, kimchi spam friend rice are recommended!
Not to forget the’ve got a variety of flavours of sojusss
I am very happy with the service as well as the wait persons are very polite attention-ate and helpful.
Will visit again
Aussie waiter gentleman wasn't informative on the information asked for. I told him that I only had eftpos card therefore would have problems placing the order on9, but gave no other alternative to order (Mind you I had hangry toddler while trying to juggle this issue)!
The other superb helpful Asian lady came along and solved my problems straight away by ordering it through their system.
This is the worst Korean restaurant I have tasted in Melbourne. The soup is hot, but the chicken inside is cool. The rice is hard to eat. Not recommend.
Samsam Korean fried chicken is the best. I come here every time I want fried chicken. The freshly squeezed chicken is super delicious. I ordered spicy today. I can accept the spiciness, but I prefer garlic.
The meal is not very amazing, the taste is average. The bibimbap has less beef, so it’s good to have crispy rice after a long time; the kimchi rice is only a little spicy, you can try it if you don’t like spicy food; the fried noodles are average; the fried chicken has eight delicious flavors.
It’s not bad to have a toilet inside, but there is only one waiter in the outfield, who mainly assists with take-out meals, and the in-house meals are all delivered by robots, resulting in a long wait for assistance such as lack of sauce.
Excellent Korean chicken. I recommend that you ask for the boneless, so you don't waste anything.
Everything is exquisite, both the original flavor and the sweet chilli, the plates to share are very practical and abundant.
Popular and back to a busy level of evening activity in post-lockdown and reduced restrictions Melbourne! Maybe a short wait for takeaway; definitely worth the while!
Decent chicken. Good fries and big serving to boot. Japchae a bit disappointing - could use alot more vegetables. Surcharge for paying by credit card. Surcharge for takeaway plastic containers. Need to switch to paper boxes.
The staff were very friendly, we ordered a stone bibimbap and sweet chill boneless chicken. The fried chicken inside was tender but crispy outside, and I really liked the bibimbap, you can add chilly sauce yourself, it’s just a little spicy and it’s sweet.
This is the place where you go to when you need a break from your "healthy" eating habits, and dipping yourself into the goodness of Korean Fried Chicken.
Located in the heart of the city, this place has amazing fried chicken to offer.
I went all in on the Hot and Spicy Fried Chicken.
Best bold decision I made in a long time.
The fire from the sauce and the juiciness of the chicken is a combination which is out of the world.
Go for hot & spicy chicken if you can handle spice, and you won't regret it.
I'm going back to give a stab to other chicken options. No more KFC for me.
Highly recommend this place.
Tasty chicken if you're on a night out and need something to soak up the beer. Nothing special. Service is ok. Downstairs stinks. It's cheap. Probably wouldn't go again.
Robot is supposed to cook chicken but on our visit it seemed completely broken, chefs spending most of the time fixing the robot instead of cooking. Chicken is good but too way too long.
There was a line out the door when we arrived last night, and it was worth the wait.
Really tasty chicken, decently priced, and super filling. We went for the couple's deal, 2 flavours of chicken and a jug of beer for $49 - 10/10.
Didn't know the chicken schnitzel was spicy but still managed to eat most of it! Was very delicious, small place but had a good variety of different dishes.
KFC was meh, the sauces were not exactly the best tasting, and the chicken itself still had a very strong chicken taste. Seafood noodle soup was tasty, but the portion size was disappointing, especially for $15
Our favourite place for chicken and the spicy noodle soup is the best still I couldn’t find anywhere else has better spicy noodle than here (it is really really spicy)
However some other old menu was taken off which is same
Cold noodle also gone which disappointing
I absolutely love the fired chicken here! Super tender and juicy, but there's definitely improvement from a service perspective
Just ordered with ubereats and was the worst Korean fried chicken I have tried.
Scarce sauce, not crispy and why there are nuts on top?
Exceptionally good fried chicken and kimchi fries from this place that arrived hot on order. Reheating them in oven made them even tastier.
