Salvos Stores Wodonga reviews
15Nice big store and stuff well set out but the prices are ridiculous. Stuff is priced like it's like it's an antique store and they get it all for FREE? !? !? !? And then they won't take donations cos their shed is full.the stuff isn't selling cos it's too ruddy expensive! Come on guys, what happened to charity?
Found a CAMILLA FRANKS kaftan after 12 years of searching in this store
Prices have been adjusted and have dropped.
The $2 tag specials are now Monday Tuesday Wednesday
Big store, well set out.
Good range of items and books. Some excellently price items, I some items were overpriced. Good service and friendly staff. Overall good experience
Went to donate a whole bunch of stuff today and was appalled at the so called "manager's" attitude and rudeness. Now, if there was stuff they couldn't take for various reasons, no worries, I get it. But she barely looked at what I had and then said “Nup, don't want them! ” and walked off, without so much as a thank you. Because of her lack of ability to perform her job properly, the store missed out on some great stuff like a pair of JBL speakers co produced by Digitech-Harman, brand new DVDs still in their plastic sleves, really good cookware and cookbooks only used once or twice and a genuine Louis Vuitton bag in immaculate condition. Like I said, if There's a lack of space in the store or some other reason that they couldn't take the donations, no worries. But that "manager" shouldn't be in a position of dealing with the public in any way at all. Ungrateful and frightfully rude. I'll never donate nor purchase anything from this store again.
I cannot believe how expensive this store is, they’re almost forgetting their main customer base is people with a low income. Awful.
Started of as a bad experience when we first got there, i had forgotten my mask and she demanded me to wear one which i have no problem wearing them but the tone she used was horrible! We then where looking around and another lady came out to put clothes on the rack and said we shouldn't be eating in there but yet your allowed to eat in any other shops and i was like oh sorry and she goes its not good.like we where buying clothes to help support people but yet this is how we got treated in the store, they should be grateful for people who spend money in the shop.
On entering this store, was intimidated by the bloke, at the door he asked about my mask, I have a doc egsempion, he then insisted I show him, the part he dosent realise its illegal, he kept watching me walk around making me feel uncomfortable, I want be back there due to his rude ness
Nice store with heaps of second hand clothes books and heaps more. The clothes are all put nicely on racks. Very neat.
Thank you so much for not allowing me entry to the store for not wearing a mask even though I had an exemption and three young special needs boys on a treat for last day of school holidays to buy a new toy with their pocket money. Nice! Three upset boys and first time I’ve ever been asked for paperwork to prove my exemption. Guess we won’t frequent anymore as we have done and donated monthly for. May god judge you.
Way over priced! What a rip off! This is meant to be a shop people with tight budgets can come and be helped. 1 shirt for $16, there’s not much of a difference from buying something brand new. I’ve left the shop in total disgust and I will not be returning. Staff were also very rude. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Very over priced for second hand items. There are alot more reasonably priced op shops in the area that I would much prefer to spent my money at. I also found the staff were quite rude when I was asking the price of a couple of item with no price tags. Would not recommend.
Good stock, however they are becoming more and more expensive each time i visit, now way over priced compared to the other local op shops.
More pricey than other op shops but it's a absolutely huge store with a big range. The service is nice. It was worth travelling for.
Sick to death of the ridiculous prices being put on SECONDHAND goods. It is not a place for the poor to shop anymore. I understand they are raising funds for the poor but they must also realise the poor need to shop there too! What's the deal with all the prices ending with 25 cents?
The Salvos store on Melbourne Rd has a large variety, however items are heavily marked up and it loses the concept of an 'opportunity' shop. Privately owned so little goes to charity. Complete rip off
