Salvos Stores Melton reviews
13It was a pathetic customer service! In fact no service minded! I reached salvos at 4: 50PM today and said that I want to donate the lady who answered me on the door was quick to say “we are closed” when I asked again she said “we are closed at 5” I asked her “Is it 5 already” she replied yes well… the donations are closed at 4. What the hell? If you’re not service minded pls don’t work at salvos! I’m restraining myself from posting that employee’s name. Management please act quick!
Not much ever here! And if there is anything worthwhile it's kept for the shop or, totally over priced! A bit of friendliness and customer service wouldn't hurt either!
They think they r commercial business and forget the essence of helping others. Di has very poor people skills
Nice big shop, a little awkward to get to but you might score a bargain if you're lucky remember to show. Grabed myself a couple of bargains today, very happy
Very expensive. Didn't expect to feel poor in an op shop.
I get that they are fundraising, but for those with little money like myself they used to be a good place to buy things.
Its a ok salvos. Most prices are on par to what other salvos are. But some items are so high priced you could almost think you were buying things brand new in a retail store. Im 53 yrs old and been opshoping since i was about 11 when i lived in richmond i have been to a LOT of salvos and a lot more other non salvo shops.and salvos by far are the most expensive of them all.
Great friendly people, service is fantastic, Always over price, recommendations, they should have a standard price list
Very expensive for am op shop. And to have shop decorations that are not for sale? Display cabinets maybe, but glass bottles with white stones? And selling vases for more than new retail. Won't be going back. One staff member was arrogant.
Went in looking for a candlela which they did have 2 one large and small the large one was rusty $35 by the way, so I ask the staff if I could get it cheaper, she then went looking for the manager which took 10 minutes, then come back and said no! So I asked to see the manager which approached me with an attitude and told me that she was happy with that price, so I said to her you won’t discount for a sale well it’s your problem mind you it was worth $10 NO MORE it was Putrid they don’t even clean things My thoughts how GREEDY that a Donation company salvos has became. I hope it sits there forever. Bad customer service maybe is because they don’t have the Knowledge in a small town.
Not bad. These stores should really go through stock and revise and or throw stuff out. They have the same things and also the quality of products is very low
Love this store. Clean. Easy to navigate. Lots of variety. Would like clothes arranged in sizes. Other than that love it. Always a pleasure to visit.
Their prices are way too expensive for a second hand store, but you can find the occasional bargain there.
They wont let you park in the ALLOCATED DISABLED PARKING BAY WITH MY APPROVED PERMIT. THEY PUT BIG BINS IN THE CAR PARKING SPACES. OVER THEIR ATTITUDE. MELTON STORE WAKE UP. SOME PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF CANT WALK FAR.
