I normally don’t give negative reviews but today I was beyond disappointed with the lady working. I had three big boxes to donate which have amazing clothes in them. It would be probably over $1-$1.5k if I were to take the time to upload them to Facebook marketplace instead I thought to donate them to someone in need. I drove to this store with my two children under two in the car I pulled up out the front and unloaded two boxes when a lady came out and said these go down the back, (there was no signs indicating this) I said I have two kids in the car I cannot walk them down the back, she said well that’s where you have to take them. The walk would of taken me out of sight of my car and children. I was so upset by this, no thank you for donate just purely no empathy or understanding for my situation. Absolutely appalling customer service. I understand that this is goodwill work but I know of people get that kind of communication when trying to do good, people won’t donate this again. I drove off so upset and I will not be back there again. If I could give zero stars I would!

Normally enjoy coming here but what I can't understand is that I wanted to purchase some artificial flowers which were sitting in a round box on a shelf and was told when I took them to the counter that they were for display and not for sale when not even marked as such. Why bother putting anything out and if it's not for sale actually mark it as such.

Last week I bought some items and the 2 staff at counter are very rude. They didn't acknowledged me and just keep talking to each other and didn't even want to look at me or help me, and they just don't want to be bothered to serve and process my items. I kept standing until they were unease and just took the clothes and process it, and they just keep talking like I wasn't there.

The only good one there is the manager, not sure what is her name, but she is so nice and happy all the time. Some staff who fills the racks are okey as well, they smile and answer my questions nicely.

But, I went there few times and some staff at the counter looks so rude and gave me a look like they don't want me because I'm buying items on sale. They make me feel like they have the rights to be rude because I am buying at cheaper price.

Some items are not actually very cheap, and I work so hard at every dollar I spent there, so I think they should show some respect.

Thank you.

In this branch, they have lots of items with no colour tags, especially as what they called "designers and vintage" fashion items. They are price higher than other items, I think they put it that way so it will not fall on the colour tags that will go $2 or half price each week. AND one staff said; "those doesn't go on sale as they won't even last a month".

Alot of bags and shoes and they have no colour tags on those items. I think they have to lower the prices on their bags and shoes, the last time I went there, they were over flowing. I found most of them are not in great condition to be on that price range.

Great furniture items but not that cheap now. Last year we managed to grab furniture that were suitable to our budget.

All in all, it is still okay to go there. You might find some items that are good for you and your budget.

Not great but not bad either, probabaly one of the fairer Salvos in the area in terms of pricing. Worth a look compared to Braybrook and Derrimut. Great range of furniture and toys.

Excellent selection of clothes and second hand items. It's a big store and surrounded by great communities, so alot of people donate great things to this location. Not to mention, the money spent goes to a great cause and everyday they have a new colour tag that means you that item for half price. It's a win win! Staff is very friendly too. Highly recommended this store to any Salvos lover

This isn't an op shop, it's a business. Your prices are ridiculous!
If you're going to run an op shop like a business you should be taxed like one too. Just like all the other businesses out there!

Nice stuff but hardly op shops prices $35 for faux leather jacket with a wornout collar same kind of money for used shoes of no particular brand save your money go to Myers

Quite a large building with an array of stuff to buy. Priced quite well for an op.shop. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There are a couple of other op.shops that are walking distance, which is a bonus if you like to shop.

Ok prices but store is extremely dirty
If your shopping or browsing for more then an hour be prepared to walk out with black hands.

Over priced. I saw a kid's chair Salvo is selling second hand for $10 but if you go to Asian store you can get that brand new chair for $10 too.

Have a wide range of stock, but overpriced for a thrift store. Like, there was this one pair of scuffed, broken, rubi branded shoes for $10. I could get them brand new for that price like c'mon! Otherwise, good service that provides good things for people in need.

People are lovely. And you never know what you can find. Especially on Thursdays! Use your health care card to get even more of a discount!

Rare salvos with decent prices.some stuff is a little overpriced but I have found that in the past year pretty much all salvos stores are.store is massive and always really nicely organized, really easy to look around and sift through clothes.staff are friendly and approachable

It was a lovely store, some really nice items and very friendly staff.
But very high prices, it makes me feel quite sad when i think 'how do the struggling ever have hope' when so called charity services are out of reach for many.

I love shopping in OP shops, but this one is huge, with enough parking (hard to park with a trailer). This Salv9s is big with a wide range of things

Disappointed at how unaffordable and appallingly expensive furniture is here. This is an OP SHOP. Some people come here as they are in a difficult situation and cannot afford to pay full price for brand new things however this store does not offer a viable alternative as someone struggling to make ends meet would not be able to afford to furnish their house from this store. Used floor rugs there were around $75. A blanket was $15, a lamp was $75 a lounge suite was $600-$700. While I appreciate the important work the Salvos do for the community, i question the need for such excessive prices. I will add that some toys and clothes are reasonably priced so it is still worth a look but dont expect to find home furnishings any cheaper than what you'd find on ebay or gumtree.

Went into the store for the first time today, and the store itself is a great size with a variety of items, however, walked past 4 staff members who were chatting amongst themselves and not one said hello. I was in the (relatively empty store, there were maybe 3 other customers at the time) and was walking around for 20 minutes and still no hello or anything.

Prior to coming to the store I had read the other reviews about the store being over priced but decided to give it a chance and I should have just stayed away.

The items are redicilously priced for a donation store. I saw a ceramic jug that I liked (I had purchased a similar one for $3 at Vinnys) and salvos had it for $15.25. I thought maybe I misread it for $5.25 but no it was $15.25.

Salvos deer Park, take it easy, you're a donation store, don't try and sell the public items you received for free at such prices that you think you're one of the big boys (Kmart, big w etc).

Will not come back!
