If you need help from the salvos, apart from housing, this organisation are really helpful. They have free food onsite as well as food vouchers for coles and the food bank. I also neede a fridge desperately. They sourced one in 1 of zheir salvo shops and they paid for it as i didnt have the funds for an essential item like that

Don’t waste time with these turkeys as they do nothing for homeless people. I waited three months for a housing assessment and was living on the streets the whole time. I repeatedly went in and called them, asking for help and they said they would do a housing assessment but they never did! Don’t bother, these people couldn’t give a rat’s behind about homeless people.

Absolutely atrocious
I was homeless and I was offered no service at all.
Even after I told them I was going to have to camp out in the bush.

Told to come Geelong from Melbourne because they would help me only to get here & be told there's nothing they can do to help me so why tell me your Gunna help to only turn me away & leave me homeless

No funding offering people swags to sleep in.never return calls. Its a disgrace people with mental health sent away.

Couldn't help a homeless person if they tried as wast people money with run around and time ride and full of false hopes no wonder there are so many homeless people out there as they fall through the cracks that the salvation course
