Saltair Spa Torquay

A beautiful space for some relaxation but a little noisey at times. Could hear lots of other people through out my massage. Spa package was beautiful and I enjoyed the products used.

Lovely facial and massage, felt really relaxed and my skin felt so hydrated afterwards.
Beautiful spot with water glimpses.
Will definitely be back.

I know the treatments I had were expensive but my hubby gave me the gift vouchers. I had ruch a relaxing experience in the beautiful surrounds of Torquay. The massage and facial left me calmer and relaxed. Thankyou Sabrina.

My recent 'the works ' treatment was fine but not luxe. In the original Ashmore Road facility, one gets the distinct impression there's lack of management direction and/or cash flow issues.

Nothing beats the stunning ocean views and three round water features as you walk in, testament to is stunning beginnings, however once inside, things are a bit dated and there are many moments missed.

With a pleasant greeting, I was seated in a warm room on an old couch and served warm water in a glass. Not chilled nor filtered. No piece of lemon, lime, cucumber nor mint. Just warm tap water. A simple moment that could of been enhanced with low cost.

The treatment table was an older narrow version, so be mindful if you've enjoyed life of your comfort levels. It's also in a bright natural light room.

My treatment consisted of a scrub, which was fine but not luxe. No brushes, no sweeping application, no chest nor stomach. The clay mud was a cream, sparingly applied and I was sort of wrapped up but the towels were old and small so had to be done in patches. Again no chest nor stomach application.

The lady then left to prepare my shower, only to return to apply the forgotten hair mask. This was clearly rationed as it covered my roots but was dragged down through my mids and my ends barely touched.

I was then taken to a shower where there was no soap, no shampoo, no conditioner and no hair dryer. There was one repurposed old white refill that had about a ten cent size portion of what smelled and looked like vanilla supermarket hand wash. Even with water added it did nothing to rinse the mask from my hair. I tried calling out but was unheard. The old polyester robe wouldn't even go over my shoulders and the towels were too small to walk back out into the combined used area, so I had to put the dirty scrub and mud towel back around me for decency. I enquired about the shampoo for my hair and lady checked the other shower to also discover it had nothing but an empty white repurposed container.

The massage was pretty good and the facial surprisingly great. The products were good on my skin.

As a new single mum who was really looking forward to two hours of me time, this didn't cut the brief. It took me 36 hours to find the time to get back to wash my hair and it certainly doesn't feel nor look any good. I travelled quite the distance for this treatment and was very disappointed. If you've never been to a day spa, then this is fine but if you have, it won't measure up.

I had the pregnancy massage and was the most relaxed and comfortable I had been throughout my entire pregnancy. Absolute 10/10 would recommend for any mother to be.
I also had a facial and my skin was still so soft and glowing a week after the treatment.

The place is kept very clean and the staff service is excellent. My therapist was very professional and made my pampering session very relaxing.

This was my first time at Saltair Spa in Torquay. I will be booking a pampering session again when I visit the area next time.

The massage itself was lovely but I paid for a 1hr massage and I was only on the table for 45 minutes.
I was booked in for 10.15 and I arrived at 10.05.
Taken into the massage room at 10.13 and spoken to about my needs for 10min and tried to get me to add on additional treatments.
Then my therapist left the room while I got changed and was gone for another 5min.
I made sure I arrived early so that these things could be done before my booked time and I am quite annoyed that I paid for 1hr to only receive 45min.
Frustrating as I have visited before and not had issues but will be looking around for a new place to treat myself.
